Ubisoft Unable to resolve CTD issues

Pretty disgusting that a software company the size of Ubisoft are still unable to resolve the instability in this game (which personally I believe to be the fault of the Ubisoft servers)

Like everyone else, I paid good money for a product that simply is unplayable.

I expect I may get the usual 'couldn't care less, templated 'verify files, reinstall' etc BS response from Ubisoft

Personally I'll be boycotting anything else that is made by this joke of a company & I'd advise every other longsuffering player of this game to do likewise...

    Meh...

Hello there! I deeply apologize if you've been experiencing constant crashes in The Division 2. I'm also truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment you've experienced as a result, though your feelings are completely valid. I would be just as annoyed if I wasn't able to fully enjoy a game I had spent money on. With that being said, have you tried to complete any troubleshooting to see if those steps make any improvements with the crashing? Although I understand you shouldn't have to troubleshoot every time you want to play a game, it would still be good to complete in this case to see if it helps. Additionally, you can always upload your MSinfo file in a case at support.ubi.com. Our technical team can certainly provide more specialized assistance and forward your report(s) to the relevant teams.

    No surprise

Thanks your reply - I have tried all the current 'fixes' and other advice, even re-downloading the game does not resolve the problem. I have no issues with any other game and it is NOT an issue with my system.

I did try to submit a copy of my MSINFO file as you suggested but unfortunately I was unable to do so for the following reason:

In the light of the current situation, we are temporarily restricting our support to live chat only.
Ensuring our teams’ health and well-being is always one of our top priorities. We are monitoring the evolution of Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely, and adapting our response as the situation develops. As a result, we are temporarily reducing our email support and moving most of our support to live chat.
We appreciate your patience in this time and invite you to consult our available support articles

I must say, this came as no surprise to me.

    Thanks for wasting my time...

    Further disgruntled Division 2 player

Same here, Totally give up tried fixing the game 3-5 hours wasted for nothing tried different set up Intel, Nvidia and AMD and fresh install OS and into HDD, SSD and M.2 even switching to DX11 and DX12 still nothing and what surprises me even further is even when I am on the main menu the game crashes randomly for 30 seconds, how can a playable game turn into a worse unplayable state and developers cannot do anything and always looking for an excuse where they cannot admit that they messed up everything.

Also why they cannot track the previous updates on what went wrong and what causes the crash issue with no errors, is that even hard for them to back up all the data and patch logs looks like the developers no longer want to fix the issues and just find an excuse so this problem can be ignored or forgotten completely.

Based off of many people's Event Viewer Logs (that I saw) it was either UbisoftConnect, EASYANTICHEAT (in most cases) or DX11-12 stuff that crashes the game.

I'm very sorry for the continued aggravation caused by these crashes, everyone! Please contact our Social Support teams either over Facebook or Twitter, so they can create social tickets for you both to attach your MSINFO files to.

So you're telling me that if Ubisoft's paying customers need help, Ubisoft expects them to create new accounts with third party companies not even affiliated with Ubisoft? And this is somehow easier than using the support system literally created and owned by Ubisoft that allows users to use their same credentials from the Uplay client to log in?

I can't even be bothered with this BS game anymore, which is a real shame because if they put more effort into adding new content and sorting out the stability issues, it would be amazing - but Ubisoft obviously don't give a **** about the players who have invested a lot of time and effort in the game.

I'll definitely be thinking twice before buying anything more that Ubisoft have had a hand in...

What's that supposed to do ?! NOTHING ! You haven't been able to do that for about 1/4 year. Fix the crashes. You only come with copy & paste answers. We all know them by heart. Come with something new. It's just ridiculous. But you don't seem to care.

It only tells me that they're outsourcing many (if not all) of their services (3rd party hosting) and therefore don't have to maintain them anymore, but at the same time loose all control. They have shutdown their own support system so people cannot create tickets anymore. Which probably looks good from their side whereas they assume everything is running smoothly since they don't get that many support requests. On the other side it might be possible that these services are under constant DDOS attacks which also are good reason to start thinking why.

Usually people at support cannot do much, they are only there to collect information, as best as they can. The 2nd or 3rd tier of support are those that solve issues but they are protected by the wall put up by the 1st tier. But I agree that most of their responses are meaningless and drafted by management, they all need to follow scripted procedures.
