Being a mercenary/traveler, the Gryphon has some really good armor visuals that represent all of the factions/cultures. His common and rare gear visuals depicts him with viking-styled armor with a few traces of knight armor on some of them. His heroic and epic gear depicts him with Japanese/Chinese-styled armor. And his legendary gear depicts him with Roman/Greek-styled armor with a few traces of “traditional” knight armor. But something is missing.
Does anyone else wish the Gryphon had more plate armored visuals? His Roman/Greek ones are great, but I wish he had more “traditional” knight armor. While I realize that he's supposed to be a "non-traditional" knight/mercenary, I just wish he had some armor visuals to help him match the other knight heroes. Are those pics artwork based on Dark Souls characters/NPCs? Just curious. One of them is definitely the Faraam warrior.
Gryphon does have alot of options for a new hero and I mostly like the armors but I do agree I wish there was some more traditional looking knight armors or just more simplistic but recognizable and effective looking armor pieces because alot of what he has is a bit too... loud for my taste.
