Well it's been a nice run. I have enjoyed my overall experience up til now but it's just gotten so toxic that it isn't worth playing for me anymore.
I am confident that a sequel can fix the majority of the problems plagueing for honor and I hope it gets announced sooner than later.
It would be a shame to see the game disappear but if a sequel isn't in the works, eventually it will happen.
This game has infinite potential. MAKE GOOD USE OF IT.
Unless Ubisoft actually confirms that they're going to do a sequel, I doubt that there will be one. If there is going to be a sequel, then one of two things would need to happen.
1) They would have to use completely new factions/cultures to make it a little different. But at that point they could just add these new factions to the current game.
Or
2) They could continue to use the existing factions, but would need to add completely new heroes. If they just use the exact same ones that are in the current game, then they should continue with the current game.
My overall point is that I DON'T want to start over if they would just use the same factions with the same heroes in a new game. They should just continue with current game (kind of like what Bungie is doing with Destiny 2, rather than making a sequel that would force everyone to start from scratch again), but fix all of the bugs and control the toxicity of the player base.
Fh2 is atleast 2 or3 years in the future...just get a break. Everyone needs it for this game. I only tried tg after 2 weeks of just training deflects and light parries. Literally just doing that for 2 hours daily without playing multiplayer. For 2 damn weeks.
Just play another game man recover from your wounds and return to the battle.
Glad is my 4 main and in console Im very good with him Diamond kind of level...i can confidently say I destroyed most people in TG like no tomorrow. Im worried also cause I dont like op heros.
The current game quite literally cannot be fixed to be "balanced".Originally Posted by Night_Fury147 Go to original post
It is limited by the technology that built it. It is outdated.
I would be fine starting over seeing as how it would be a new game and if you disagree then you could just keep playing the first game.
Obviously I don't know for sure if a sequel is coming but I believe it's been in the works ever since Eric Pope and Damien Kieken left the Warrior's Den, so a couple years already.
The current game feels like its just being used to buy more time. It doesn't feel like they plan on giving up support for the game any time soon, yet they aren't fixing things that you would think are easy to fix, like reflex guard.
This is evidence that they CAN'T fix things like reflex guard for whatever reason, most likely outdated tech and buried code.
For these reasons, we ABSOLUTELY need a sequel and the most logical thing to do for a sequel is to keep all of the current heroes, add a few new ones, and rebuild the fight system from the ground up while resetting everyone's rep levels to 0.
Perhaps they could carry over rep levels and cosmetics. Who knows. It would be nice but resetting would be fine too.
Continuing with the current game just means continuing with no hope for real esport possibilities. Continuing with flawed logic and flawed mechanics.
They already confirmed that minions being smaller than heroes is a limitation of old tech and new pc bits and next gen consoles dont have that issue.
This is already evidence enough that we NEED a sequel. If something as simple as minion size can't be updated due to the tech that built the game, then they need to rebuild the game from the ground up using new technology.
I am high diamond being regularly matched with GMs in duels on Xbox, both ranked and casual. I have even managed to beat a few GM's on occassion.Originally Posted by MayanKingGaming Go to original post
The problem is that my favorite mode is duels but some heroes are just better than others in the current live game which breaks duels. Conqueror is currently the undisputed emperor of duels and only because of his bash spam + zone option select. That's really dumb. Throw in the odd full block for a free heavy and congratz. You are now a god duelist.
The same strat gets you either ignored or ganked in 4's so it goes unnoticed in those modes. It's only an issue when you are forced to fight a conq in a 1v1 scenario and even then, most conq players who don't play duels won't even try it. Only duelist conqs at diamond or higher know how cheap and easy it is and abuse the hell out of it.
Anyways. The most toxic thing in the game is the players, not the game itself. It breeds toxicity into others.
Sometimes when you beat someone badly they throw salt your way in the form of harassing personal messages.
I get those when I'm beaten sometimes, and of course when I totally dominate.
What I can't understand is someone using BS that is over 9000 and then messaging nasty things after they win. Like. You won. Move along.
I was literally being insulted in the TG for trying out Zhanhu recovery cancels by multiple players. These are players who beat my rep 2, reworked Zhanhu, 3 to 0, screaming and shouting about how I spam dodge attacks and light attacks and then spew insult after insult, AFTER A 3-0 WIN FOR THEM. Why are they even complaining?
It's this sort of attitude that has me not wanting to play. We all know some heroes are still busted yet there are players who will pick a strong hero, win, and then spam messages at the player they beat about how bad they are (in this case, me) and how they should just quit playing or worse.
It pisses me off to no end to have someone knowingly playing easy mode and then insulting you after for losing. Wtf.
There needs to be a better reporting system from in game where we can add a game clip and even snapshot personal messages regardless of platform (xbox for me). This way, I could clip a player winning and then instigating afterwards and that can be looked at as unsportsman like behaviour and you should be penalized.
Video games aren't "just video games" anymore. In online games, you are having very real interactions with very real human beings. It is the same as real life.
Why is it that in a sport, if a player is being a **** and showing a piss poor attitude, they get penalized when gamers don't? Well that one is a bit easier. Sports are older and fairer. They are real world interactions with real world consequences.
Online gaming is no different except that its far newer with far less regulations. It needs regulation.
Players shouldnt be allowed free reign to be as big of an *** as possible. There should be better tools to stop players from being ******bags on purpose.
man I feel ya but saddly idiots are everywhere from our schools to our work even sometimes in our own family. People can be so toxic it makes me depressive literally.Originally Posted by MrBdur Go to original post
I know you are in console and you are diamond tier as me ,and I have seen your videos and even sub to your YT channel to support FH content as always I do, (i dont mind if you check my channel man though is in spanish a little support would be great), IDK if people recall me as much but I can recall most forists in here even the ones who are not here anymore. both with good inputs and with really bad inputs(undergod).
I would prefer that people with strong or elaborate opinions stay here cause their input is useful for data nerds like me.
Homever if a break is not enough to refill your need of batlle I totally understand people can get in your nerves, but at the same time, they want to do that to you, you can still negate them the pleasure. Trolls and haters feed on that, quit them the power. Hopefully you can still being here for battles of wits and for inputs.
