Well, I am trying to mix it up between doing challenges in Golem Island (why are almost ALL challenges from 10 to 20 only in Golem Island! NVM, rethorical Q). Anyways, I was doing the boat runner mission again, so I came in from the Biv where there is a helo pad with a big ladder to climb up to said pad and it is near a house as well (pretty far away from the base the boat is at), pull out my Scout DMR and started capping some heads, because well, they were there

I had done this mission to many times only to fail after taking the boat and being chased by the helos, stupid me (Again!) thinking logically and trying to down the helos before they do me, only I learn by what Mike said and after almost never getting hit nor the boat taking any damage that this is just a scripted lazy-a$$ coded part where you were never going to get hurt as long as you keep on going and not stop to take down the helos

A-ny-Ways... 2 to 3 sentinels got stuck behind cover or similar because the bastards didn't want to move so I took them down with a sync drone, got up, walk towards the ladder get close to it, see the sign that says [SpaceBar to Climb] so of course I hit the Spacebar when lo and behold my Nomad decides that he will also like to play as a Superman and launches himself to the ground only to faceplant his a$$ on the ground, dude learn the hard way that humans just don't fly! and of course that was the end of what could have been a perfect mission.

But hey, let us Thank the studio for their hard work and pride in what they do. May your bowel movements be as strong as this game is on us gamers

This here is a PEBKAC problem, where you blame the studio but the studio has fixed this a long time ago and you never caught on. When you go to your keyboard settings and load default settings, you'll find that some revisions ago they set Climb Ladders to "E". Works like a charm for me since that time. No more involuntary diving off heights due to pressing space at the wrong pixel.

Ok, that's all fine and dandy but I have my "E" bind for something else but I will try to see if I can bind it to some other key I am not using. Thanks for the head's up.

In my defense, ever since the immersive mode came out and I tried fiddling with my settings and options and every time I went back to desktop and fire up the game it would reset itself to whatever they wanted, I stop trying to adjust the keys to my liking and just roll with the punches. I mean, what else is there to do.

I do so as well, but even then, after each update check the keyboard settings as chances are high that even the default key settings will have some kind of clash, that shows some key combinations as red. Loading default settings, even if they are exactly the same as the ones that seem to clash, will fix that.

I play on the PS4 and in the controls it says to hold aim and up for silencer attachment/removal and just plain up to launch a drone. But when I hit up to launch my drone my guy puts on or takes off my silencer (depending on how it was to begin) and THEN launches the drone. If I have a silencer on because I am stealth and forget because the controls are crappy I end up alerting enemies because I forgot the drone took my silencer off.
