I totally forgot about that, but it's also something that I extremely enjoy in this game. Even when Nomad is doing impossible climbing or entering/leaving a vehicle in a very unnatural position you hardly notice the hands and feet because they don't just do some weird moving in the air or grab an invisible object. I think that's something they took from Assassins Creed, and it works very good in BP.

I've always enjoyed the overall environment... the wilderness... the beaches.

The potential that it had / has to be a backdrop to an amazing make your own adventure story as real as intense or relaxed as you wanted to make it.

I guess I should appreciate the lack of effort/thought that was put into Breakpoint ...

short version: Camp Tiger, following a KIA re-spawn (in the open), with base by design now on alert (engaged) with helos and drones. Survived getting to one of the old bunkers. Did the charging AI ever attempt to flank? No. I wasted time placing a mine at the side door ...

Breakpoint added a few new mechanics that I really like...

    - Holding breath while aiming
    - Prone camo
    - Different enemy types

I also appreciate the improvements to the enemy alert system. When the enemy finds a dead body, they begin a search (yellow alert), but if they see a teammate get killed, they start a hunt (orange alert). It works well from a videogame point of view and is an improvement over Wildlands, where the enemy start hunting you if they discover a dead body.

If Wildlands was updated to include these things, I'd start playing it again and I doubt I'd play anything else.

That is one thing i find bizarre actually in BP. A dead body only escalating to a yellow alert. WTF one of your guys clearly took a round to the head and they are only slightly concerned? It kind of boggles the mind honestly. "Guess it was nothing".

It boggles the mind that some of you still think that reverse psychology might just work on them by thanking them, for what exactly? . Sorry but personally, I have nothing to be thankful for this waste of human decay.

I will be the first one, in the front of the line thanking them when they decide to come out with a game worth the name and title.

You have your opinion, this is mine. For all I care, the studio and the whole company can be as poor as I am if they insist on gimmicking the consumer this way.

I agree. If they find a dead body, they should never return to a calm state and while in yellow alert, they should have heightened senses. As it is though, it works just fine for a videogame.

Not sure if this was mentioned already but, I love the "Darkest Night" setting.

Yep, I loved me some Darkest Nights, I love it even more when in the most darkest night were they can still see you as soon as they get in the so called Alerted mode when clearly they are not using nor have Night Vision Goggles? Personally, it is another half assed gimmick, sort of a come chew on this chewed up bone so to speak so we can say that they are listening to us. I will like it when it is a balanced mechanic not just another immersive mode with the same stupid AI.

Every time I play this game I appreciate it a bit more. I appreciate how much they have teach me not to get bamboozle by empty promises and gimmicky trailers. Hell, politicians are more honest.
