    Thoughts on Zhan wu Testing grounds

    Ubi please dont go through with all those zhan wu changes. a 50/50 enhanced dodge attacks and a 500ms bash on a character with so many dodge recoveries is absurd. If you guys still wanna give him an enhanced dodge attack thats fine but remove either the light or heavy side dodge attack and keep the other. Also maybe instead of a 500ms bash, give him enhanced lights. Just a suggestion! Otherwise great changes!

    Bashes are needed on pretty much any hero, for having a additional way of opening people up.

    All of his changes are fine in my book and can stay.

    Agreed the only thing I'm going to miss are the deflect subduing counter blow. (That is the name right XD)

    Zhanhu needed this its the first time I play him that I feel I'm on par with heroes like Jayjay, Kensei, and Tiandi it feels good even in 1V1 before this changes it felt like doing anything else that was not a team fight it was basically putting my self in a disadvantage

    also I don't think anybody has trouble with the sidestep lights I barely use them because they get parried all the time and only do 9 damage and as a side step it's still bad its somehow one of the faster ones but the only unfaintable one that has GB vulnerability

    1) There is no good reason for having any dodge attack below 600ms.
    2) If a character has the option to switch sides with dodge attacks, it's only fair to have them punished as light parries.
    3) If a character can dodge attack, they need to have reflex guard. (or remove it all together)

    Lol the number 3 opinion is straight up garbage, even without the obvious fact that reflex guard should not be a thing anymore in general. (You kinda saying Warden, Conq, Lawbringer, Warmonger, Gryphon, Raider, Highlander, Valk, Kensei, TG Shug, Nobushi, TG Aramusha, TG Hitokiri, Tiandi, JJ and Sun Da should have reflex guard because they all have dodge attack 😂 )

    It's interesting how you interpret that as changing other classes guards.
    What number 3 means is;
    Remove reflex guard OR make dodge attack assassin only.

    You said if a character can dodge attack then they should have reflex guard.

    I’m just showing you what you said and how many characters have dodge based attacks in this game.

    No to both of your things.

    Not to mention reflex guard is already a ghost of the past and every character should have normal guard.

    Honestly every character in the game should have at least one side dodge based attack and a bash.

    Great so you think there is an inbalance with having reflex guard ingame. Many people agree with it but no changes were made since the launch.

    What is a good solution to bring balance if relex guard isn't being removed? Try to think of something better than what I came up with before saying "no"

    But its Zhanhu topic so:

    The best solution for reflex guard is the same as for the corruption feats, it’s removal.

    The changes to his dodge attacks isn’t absurd at all, they in my opinion a step in the right direction.

    Quick dodge attacks are piss easy to block and parry because they painfully obvious, honestly every quick dodge attack that isn’t a heavy should have all the properties of Zhanhus Dodge Attack. (So the characters can counter and turn the pressure around better)
