Guys, I can't find the patch note for the hero reworks ! I don't have much time to play because of work but I'm thrilling to know what did they do to berserker ! ( others heroes too but awananowaboutmamain)
Give me a link please ! I may have understood that all rework are buffs and good changes
Wow, My my... Honestly, I am just happy. I never thought about enhancing zerk dodgies, but it is indeed smart damn. That will improve the flow so much. Thank you Ubisoft. That is what he needed, move flow and more pace control. I know some people will cry about it but as a berserker player I have to say that this is just enjoyable. It resolve some of the usual frustration of playing Zerk, and well, improving is pretty much about that.
I'll read carefully about the others, I think thse changes will produce lot of interest for the next weeks. For Hitokiri, I searched a bit and his dodge attack does not seem to have much of a frame invincibility, I don't know if he needed it but it look cool and we ll have to see if it fit right in the kit.
Csodszarvas, IF lawbringer name is inside some drawer for futur rework, all these changes are just making me confident in the will of getting rid of the eternal nerf chain, and that they are looking forward to bring heroes up !
WE can all be thankfull to gryphon. I was sure that he was the announcement of some good things coming rather than some "you don't pay, you don't win lul" troll
Yes, let's remain hopeful about Lawbringer. It seems that the devs know what they are doing, with these changes, as they really addressing the shortcomings of the given heroes.
The highlights for me among these changes are Zanhu and Gladiator. I really like how they treated Zanhu (the only Wu-lin I play), he/she now has a guaranteed deflect and a forward dodge bash. Plus he/she has a lot of recovery cancels so it is possible to maintain a ton of pressure if you play smartly.
And Gladiator... well I still need some time messing around with him/her, but he/she seems so strong now.
About Hitokiri. His/her changes are mostly fine IMO. The new chain options are welcomed additions, they make Hito a really strong Hero. And that is fine. We need strong heroes in the game. But honestly, I think that the devs went too far by giving Hito a side dodge attack. He/she already has a 50/50 bash and a 50/50 chargeable heavy plus a lot of HA. Furthermore, his/her stamina pool is quite big as well, so stamina doesn't hold him/her back, unlike for example Valkyrie.
Well, I understand that observation. May be a bit over the top. And it chain so it's definitely not a gimmick. But At least he may have more variety in his kit (I always seen hito as msr light light, light light, bash light, bash cancel gb, light light, heavy cancel) and a dodge attack is a possibility for bait and open up heroes. Don't know how it will fit in high rank play tho. They could have made it a dodge light attack enhanced like zerk in fact, Also all those attacks that chain will push player to attack more, making it harder to manage stamina, open up to easier (more predictable) parries, and may lead to harder punish.Originally Posted by Csodaszarvas_G Go to original post
Weeks to come will be very interesting ! But playing lawbringer will become more and more difficult with all these buffs around, unfortunately. But in our threads we spoke a lot about flow, soft feint into shove, zone that chain, that kind of stuff, and since improving flow is pretty much what the devs have in mind right now I don't see why LB would not get his part of it
I hoped they will balance out Berserker a bit, not make him outright broken. This is just ridicoulous. He is only considered weakish because there are better picks in 4v4. If you don't have a bash, it is a gg already, he has hyperarmor on everything, you will never retaliate. It is so cool that the junk will still give you a 60 damage punish if you dare to attack with less than half stamina. Unless you get him with a well timed guardbreak, Zhanhu will completely shut down most offense with a well timed dodge attack. It remains to be seen how Hitokiri's work, I assume from the speed it is a second Gryphon. And hurray, let's also buff Gladiator to make his zone even more broken.
Yeah, the thing I'm hoping for is that Hito players start to rely on dodge attacks more than they should, so as a Lawbringer I can bait it and go for the Impale...might be a wall or a ledge nearby. Also all those attacks that chain will push player to attack more, making it harder to manage stamina, open up to easier (more predictable) parries, and may lead to harder punish.
The zone is quite "funny" IMO. If chained with a left heavy finisher, Glad is spinning around him/herself like there is no tomorrow.I hoped they will balance out Berserker a bit, not make him outright broken. We can still give our feedback about the changes in the survey. I'm definitely going to mention the Hito dodge attack and the Aramusha soft-feint into Ring the Bell (it's mostly fine, he needed an opener for a long time, but I think it is too fast for a soft-feint bash).
im with goat this time, and also hito dodge attack is an excess in my opinion, considering asassins are still behind on heavies, and this time even flowing in heavies class will be better.
headbutt with damage in shugo is uneeded, 2 damage would be acceptable but ten is a joke when some lights do less.
