Well the best tip is to try and get the read right. What does you opponent wants to achieve? Let it fly or feint into GB? If you get guard broken a lot you seem to react to it quite frequently. Sometimes you need to risk to call a bluff and therefore if you are not right to take dmg. Your opponent is feeling you out too and adjusting his attempts accordingly. If you call that he is going to feint, be cheeky and throw an attack the moment you see the indicator. If he cancels he cannot defend against it. I sometimes even input an early heavy that bounces off against a feint into gb attempt.Originally Posted by Turts. Go to original post
Some easier methods would be on a hero that has quick dodge attack, you can use that in the direction the attack is coming from (if we are talking about side finishers).
And of course many heroes could use eventually a zone option select. To do that input a zone attack (light and heavy together) when you need to parry. The game registers a parry if you need one, if the opponent feints he eats your zone. Cost quite a bit of stamina and you should not rely on that too often as it can also be punished and is overall a cheap way of getting out a situation which does not get you to get better at making reads (which is a far more important skill for you and should be more of a priority to learn and obtain)
