I'd take a simple melee RPG at that point.
Because your skills have very long cooldowns. You need to use them at the right moment, you can't just spam them ad lib.

It would be like saying that in TD you have a sticky bomb, why would you need a gun?

I do not understand why many are fixated on just one game, When there are so many. I play 7-8 different games. and buy 2-3 new ones every year. So it's normal for me to change, there's nothing abnormal about it. People have been doing that for all years. (Today I'm going to play simracing)

I've personally not much intrest for it. I've tried the demo, but the theme, style, and lore is just a complete miss for me. I do understand why others would enjoy it, and it doesn't strike me as a bad game, just not for me.

And a "Division killer" as OP asked, it is certainly not. People play multiple games like Imagine_Brata says, and I personally have not heard of a game pushing another game out of business, ever. Warframe, Outriders, Destiny, Anthem (ok not that lol) and Division 1&2 can perfectly co-exist. Sure, some games will grab a lot of the attention for a bit, but the only real game killer is time. Seeing that some PS3 titles still have active servers, I don't really see Division tanking anytime soon.

On that note I found the cutscenes and the story way too long and out-of-the-game. I think it took 20 minutes before I was actually playing anything... and I was skipping everything I could skip!

Its on gamepass striaght from release so will give it a crack. Div2 has become very stale at the moment for both pve and pvp. Run through the same content with a bit of a viarable or go in pvp where its people hiding behind skills so the game can win it for them or use a lady death meta. Got a few things to go through in waiting so may bash those out the rest of the month, especially with the server lag that was created after a maintanence this time.

Yeah that was off putting indeed. Also, those scenes where locked to 30FPS somehow, but that could be a demo thing or my settings maybe.

I've played the demo and getting the full version.

Great graphics, doesn't crash. Interesting plot. Challenging.

    Different to Division 2.

I will give it a chance as it will be included in the Game Pass per launch. But personally the demo didn't catch me... I wasn't to happy with neither graphics, nor story or the general gameplay. But I would like to love it... we will see.

And there won't be any PVP...thank god.
