I thought since in the near future it's possible to have low light amplification and thermal vision in the same device/helmet maybe we can have a combined effect.
I've played with some screenshots to show how it would look like, having the best of both (it looks a bit like the hunter vision from Skyrim)

While we're at it, there's no need to make the player cycle through 2 - 3 vision modes in Breakpoint. A tap of the button should cycle vision mode on and off, while a hold of the button should cycle through available vision modes.
For example, if you switch to thermal and then deactivate vision mode, it'll go back to thermal the next time you activate vision mode.
