I wonder, what would be the effect of sorting players into separate instances of Dark Zones based on how often they've gone rogue or attacked other players? Does such an idea even make sense?

SBMM for Rogue-ing probably isn't a good idea.

PVP don't make sense when the devs don't make effort to have it clean of cheaters. I watch some videos where new players are targeted by the cheaters who make videos in youtube and have a comunity that applaude them. When these new players begin to be masscred by this groups with hacks, they'll quit DZ. Devs only watch for the more obvious, the language that are easy to control by them. Any other proof of hack and cheating made by external devices they don't care. Some youtubers even laught about that and use these hacks in their videos, impunne. That's a bad publicity to this game but devs don't care. I am on a clan with about 30 active members, about ten of them almost only pvp. One of them got a pem ban for toxic language against those cheater. He is a very good player since D1, he is in top 30 pvp players and when he, bored with too many hacks and cheating, started using toxic language against these guys got a ban. That's what devs do. The cheaters remains there making bullying against other players.

Ah...and if you want to know more about cheating and hacking go to D1 DZ. That's a fest. D2 DZ is almost the same. Almost every player there are using hacks.
