I was just testing out an AK earlier today and found the lack of accuracy/stability frustrating: it could not reliably land body shots on a target in the open beyond about 35 m (obviously the problem is greater for targets with partial cover or if you're going for headshots). It kind of feels that the design range of this weapon is out to about 20 m.

I did have +20% accuracy from the mods I happened to have available (I didn't have any stability mods), but this was a level 7 blue AR, so perhaps it's significantly better in the endgame?

Or maybe I'm just using ARs in general too much at the outside of their design range, or focusing too much on headshots? But I do feel that at 25-35 m, especially when dealing with targets in partial cover, the Police M4 and Carbine 7 land a lot more hits.

(I'm not terribly familiar with use of ARs, so any hints are welcome!)

M4 for laser shooting with decent RPM, using Killer or Preservation...

    ^ This.

If you have to choose between the two.

Choose between Police M4 or Capacitor I would probably go for M4, not much skill oriented player. Using ACR-E (Measured) since first started playing and it has become my favorite. Lately switched to FAL (Near Sighted) and have to say that one is pretty effective as well. Don't really case about the handling because at the range I attack most NPCs they are big enough that you can't really miss them.

I'd like your opinion, Police M4 or Capacitor in the quality of Assault Rigle.

For myself, I'm having hard time finding something better than the Police M4.
Capacitor is a copy of PDR.

I'd took Capacitor - for his huge CHD boost

But if you have really good M4 - why not?

Most ARs are equal to each other.

For PVP use high RPM for burst damage, for PVE - low RPM for sustain DPS and saving ammo

I've been using the AKM for a long time. Highest DPS out of all the AR's i've played with.

My favorite AR is the FAMAS. The rate of fire is great. I would like the Capacitor more if it had a rate of fire of even 800 rpm and held 50 rounds.
Since the Capacitor gets damage for skill tier or weapon damage, you can stack up Skill Tier to improve your shield while also getting damage for the Capacitor. The gun damage won't be as high, but you'll get a better shield out of the deal.

And if you stack Memento and Capacitor, you'll end up with a VERY strong shield without giving up very much in terms of damage output.

The Capacitor has high built-in CHC and very good accuracy. So much so that I don't find the smaller mag to be an issue at all.

    Correct

Beyond ~20m you either need excellent recoil correction or the addition of some WH. Definitely easier to handle for PC players - they had to offset the highest dmg/mag & 1a sDPS.

I definitely recommend pairing an AK with a Rifle or MMR to handle any longer engagements. Specific weapon or talent depends on the rest of your loadout.

It is worth having 1 or 2 attribute weapon handling on the gears with AK-M

That's how my 'Manic' handles (the second example), and it's my go to AR.

So for absolutely as an AR I would pick M4 over the capacitor since game isn't that extraordinary with weapons that don't have huge magazines
Is this a bot? i mean why that's one weird link
