Both are under the "+" button next to the reply button at the lower-right of each post. You can also just put {quote}...{/quote} tags (replacing the braces there with square brackets) around any text to quote it, which won't show the name of the source, or change the first tag to {quote=name} to attribute the quote to name.Originally Posted by TE5LA-1 Go to original post
Excellent thread!
I've stopped sharing items for some time because of the situations mentioned here, but also because of the UI.
One should not have to hit several button/trigger combinations in order to share items.
And, yes, most people don't even want items I drop and just teleport to another location.
Anyway, if whoever reads this and ends up playing in my group.... I DO SHARE!![]()
To be honest, having players share good loot is a rarity. Then you consider that 99% of the loot for most players are trashed immediately. You probably catch players off guard of be nice.
I had an experience where a player kept dropping loot, all of it worse then what I was getting.
On another occasion, I was in a discussion with a player. He stated he could put together any optimized build in a couple of hours. I called BS. He asked what build I wanted. We played 6 missions and he dropped god-rolled after god-rolled item. Then he shared every piece and now I have that build.
Yes, this! I find it annoying, too.Originally Posted by JenPeKev Go to original post
Having another mark for sharing and then having "Share" in the dropdown menu share all marked-for-sharing items (the way deconstruct works now, I think) would go a long way towards making sharing lots of stuff easier. Sometimes I even feel that I click on "Share" in the menu and it just doesn't do it, though perhaps I'm just bad at clicking things.
