This isn't an attack on anyone, however, hasn't the team been working on things for a while? Or are they just getting around to working on it? Coms have been non-existence for the last few months. The only thing we've gotten is 'It's coming soon' for the last month.

God knows I despise that particular game and it's copious and increasingly annoying trailers with an unrivalled passion, but sincerely I wouldn't mind going back to that community if only to relive how it feels to have a marketting/PR team actually involved in the content roll out for a game I'm interested in.

I actually reinstalled Breakpoint a few days ago and shortly after I had opened the game, like clockwork it again emerged - the notion of not having anything to do. Anyhow, it's no secret Ubisoft has been laying low with PR for Breakpoint for reasons we all know and brood. But when I observed that they are actually marketing R6 in the main menu in Breakpoint, frankly urging people to play Siege, kinda speaks for what message is being sent if you ask me.

Siege is popular enough that it was supporting tournaments with multi-million dollar prize pools before Covid. That popularity is why it's continued to receive updates at a regular cadence.

My guess is that Breakpoint, like Division 2, had reached it's EOL and wasn't going to see any further updates. Then came Ubi's strategy change where they decided to extend the life of their back catalog. Hence radio silence while the team figure out what to do.
