    Yeah I get too and it seems random. Doesn't happen that often, maybe once a week. Too many issues with this game, hopefully these crashes get fixed.

    Same problem here ...
    i verified files ... download 5mo. launcher closed ... starting launcher into 31.65Go DL ...
    I JUSTE PLAYED TOW DAYS AGO WITH SOME FUNNY FREEZE ... 3 day to dl anothier time this **** ... i'm out.

    Every patch they go farther ...

    just desinstalled and never come back in this store companye.

    I have the same problem as well, it just crashes into the windowed mode for no reason whatsoever and gets stuck. It's close to impossible to successfully complete any mission. Ubisoft please fix this ASAP. O_o

    I had this happen today for the first time after I was messing with graphics settings. I disabled VSYNC in game (Forcing Adaptive Sync in NVIDIA Control Panel and left it on) and just used "Limit FPS" set to 45. Ran around for about a minute and game dropped to a black window and had to be killed. I then launched the game and turned "Limit FPS" back off, enable "use VSYNC". Problem hasn't happened again.

    Well another post with same issue

    Just coming back to the game after long time and got this exact same crash, switched to windowed mode, freeze on black screen, and had to kill the exe file from task manager...after 10 minutes of gameplay

    So bad..

    Never had this type of crash/freeze before the last few days. Game stutters freezes goes to windowed mode with black screen.

    I'm sorry you guys are all experiencing this issue. In addition to the workarounds in the threads linked by longlivern, please make sure you run through the steps in our troubleshooting guide.

    If the issue persists, please send us your system files via a Support case - we can then investigate further to try to identify the root cause of the crash, and find a solution.
