You might be right since I have had a few CTD in Watch Dog Legions over the weekendOriginally Posted by Alc111 Go to original post
I just started getting CTDs today, and disabling the overlay fixed it for a few hours, but then it returned. I then used the techinique of installing OBS Studio, in the _Sources_ pane adding _Game Capture_, in Game Capture's Properties clearing the "Use anti-cheat compatibililty hook" checkbox, and then using File » Exit to end OBS Studio. That was several hours ago and it's good so far. (This was described in more detail in a post somewhere in this forum, but the search is pretty awful even after about fifteen minutes of work I couldn't find it. It doesn't help that the forum refuses to search for "OBS" because it's "too short.")Originally Posted by Alc111 Go to original post
Every time it crashed I let it send a crash report, so presumably Ubisoft and Massive are collecting the data they need to figure out what the heck is going on here, though it appears to be a very difficult problem.
I am pleased that when you restart after a crash it gets you right back into the same session where you were, though it's unfortunate that this facility needs to be used so much.
In Device Manager mine does the same & I question the efficiency. For me it shut down my computer but lately its down to once in a while. I think part of my problem was a small page file. Increasing that was good but their update not so much.Horus352
When trying to start the game take more than 80% of the CPU & a lot of memory and a maximum of energy .The intro is jerky ,and crash before the end.
