I can play roughly 1hr and it will crash to desktop.

When I crashed in the past it restarted my computer. Now, for the past three days if it crashes its to the desktop. That is unusual & better & different. Should it crash it will be in the first few minutes then not a problem after.

One thing I question in Device Manager is very high memory usage & very high power usage. I imagine that is a windows assessment & who knows how much without testing. Some time back I increased my page file because of shutdowns & it solved the memory problem. I have an 850 watt PS which should handle the very high power demand, actually it should be overkill. That being said the game requirements by Ubisoft were calculated the low side & two plus years ago.

Yeah...and all you have to give up is a worse graphical experience and worse input. Sacrifice your entire experience to avoid a problem that the devs should have never allowed to happen in the first place.

I don't subscribe to that at all. The entire reason I game on a PC is because I'm able to customize and have a better overall experience. Sacrificing that in order to get some measure of protection from shoddy workmanship just isn't on my radar. And it's kind of a shame that this crap is going on with a game that I REALLY enjoy playing. But it's the exception, not the rule.

I'm glad to hear that the issue has been fixed for most of you! For those who are still experiencing crashes:

Are the crashes like the ones from yesterday where the game hard crashes and the screen goes black? Or does the game just close out with no error code displayed?

Freeze - crash and sometimes Black or a withe tint - then a crl.alt del and stop process

I just did a Lincoln and was happy for 2 min. then Freeze/Crash etc. - It looks like CTD has gone (for now)
