    Your character/s & settings are stored in the cloud no problem. It may not solve any issues though

    Just read this after reading Rod's above reply. As he stated, gamesaves for D2 are stored server-side per your account. Technically, you could format your hard drive, do a clean install and be back up and running in that regard. However, as he also stated, it is highly unlikely that approach will have any significant effect on this situation, especially given the number of users it has affected.

    The current working hypothesis is that these particular crashes (within five minutes of starting the game executable through the client) are the result of the client update. This is merely supposition on our parts, based on timing. Only Ubisoft can backtrace their logs/actions and identify the exact cause.

    If you aren't 100% sure of what you're doing, I advise you sit back and monitor these threads.

    Same issues, sometimes its a single crash after approx 3-5 mins and othertimes its crashes multiple times within minutes of the previous crashes. Nothing in Windows eventlogs, have reinstalled the anticheat and verified all of my files.

    Perhaps you are not aware, but they are investigating the problem, since yesterday, and have NO confirmed problems. The patch is working as intended to the entire community. LOL

    What working patch? I have no patch and the game is still unplayable it just freeze, freeze freeze
