It seems like it's probably something to do with Ubisoft connect making a call to the game, and either Easy-AntiCheat is not liking it, or something else within the game is being broken by that call.

The game always switches from fullscreen to windowed mode at the same instant the crash happens. That might be a place for Ubisoft developers to start looking.

I agree, mine started after ubisoft connect update.

These problems with different crash modes happen since the Resident Evil event.

Ubisoft Connect today's update is the culprit and needs to be reverted ASAP.
After which they can focus on a more permanent fix. If that's even a possibility.
But for now, they really need to revert the update so PC players could at least play.

I don't have a single problem in the game today, 0 crashes or freezes. there's some information i can provide to help solve the issue? maybe i can help in some way

Tell us how/why you are not crashing. Are you on Stadia or something?

I just opened the game this morning and played as usual. I didn't see any updated the ubisoft launcher or anything like that

Following the update of Uplay the game crashes having to close it from the task manager.
