okay all good for me now!

I switched to the DX11 and reverify the game files and the crashes stopped. The game reinstalled a few things after verify.

game straight up just crashes and closes now but doesn't freeze in windowed anymore.

Thank you Ubisoft for acknowledging this issue with the recent patch. I was disappointed and dismayed when the game repeatedly locked up. I was at my wits end trying to troubleshoot my system. It's good to know that it is germane and not just my machine or installation.

I am confident that you will resolve the issue in a timely manner.

if you have overlays turn them off. inc discord,

no CTD, no freeze, at least i can play for 30mins+. should be back to normal.
If you still have problem, try download and re-install the uplay connect again?

Still crashes, no updates being offered by Uplay... any other way to get it?
The best part is not even being present when your highest level Hard Core agent gets killed - after the game crashes.
Good work, Ubisoft. Makes me want to jump right back in and get back to 500 on hard core.
