I purchased Div 2.when it launched,i played like i dont know...maybe 2 weeks ? Until they added a patch and could not play anymore, crashes on top of crashes, now, years later some of my friends play Div 2,i said lets give it a try, sure they fix that ****,i mean,it passed some years right ?Well well,i played like 2 weeks,no crashes, today i wana play, golden bullet event and whatever, same crashes over and over again...3-5 mins in game and game freeze/crash ?I see the forum is full of this topic with crashes,so is not just me,so with this ocasion i just wana say this:Shame of whoever developes this game, shame on you,im sorry that i even bought the NY expansion,i wish i could refound !
My game has crashed 8 -12 times after launching tonight. I verified files once and even uninstalled and reinstalled game.
Launches occur at last crash location - right, so the second last crash tonight was on my setting screen. I had enough time after launching again and before final crash to see my... refresh rate for G-sync monitor was not displayed and my monitor type in the next setting box was also not displayed.
If you are able to confirm similar info or screen shot similar it might be a place for them to start corrective action.

Brilliant idea! I wish I'd known this a half hour ago.Originally Posted by V4MPiR1 Go to original post
I knew about the crashes, but the link in the notification box on the Ubisoft support page just links to the general topics listing in the forums. Had their communications department bothered to put together a notice explaining what was going on (and especially that it was not a game update, it was an Ubi client update causing the problem) I could have refused the update and been happily playing right now.
So what are the chances that whoever's responsible for communications with players will take a look at how they could have done a better job here and improve their systems?
After first crashes I checked my GPU monitor - everything was fine. Did a third party benchmark running 4K - everything fine.
Went back to Division 2 - benchmark crashed. I think this was when I uninstalled/reinstalled Division 2.
After reinstalling I benchmarked Division 1 with no problem. I tried benchmarking Division 2, again it crashed but on Setting screen thus
my original post.
Just checked The Division settings and it displays 165 Hz, so I think Division 2 issue might be associated with missing monitor information capture by software.

Roughly the same as the game's AI becoming sentient enough to fix the bugs themselves.Originally Posted by CategoryTheory Go to original post
