    New PvP Experience

Hello fellow Ghost Recon Breakpoint players! I have been working on a new PvP experience for Breakpoint, and i would love to get some feedback and suggestions on my idea.

Im calling this new experience "Dark Ops" which will add special "Dark Ops Zones" to Auroa. In these areas around Auroa, you will be able to encounter other players just like you do in Erewhon. Within these Dark Zones, you are limited to just one main weapon and one sidearm (perhaps no minimap as well) and the objective while inside these zones is to track down intel that will lead you to a piece of unique gear or weapon blueprint that is exclusive to Dark Ops.

Each player will also be equipped with a flare gun that will allow them to call a helicopter that will extract them from the area. The goal is to find a piece of gear or blueprint and successfully exfil from the zone. If you get eliminated in the dark zone, you leave with nothing, just like if you fail to kill a raid boss, you dont get the reward.

Players could also accumulate Dark Ops points when they eliminate other players in the Dark Zones and use their points to purchase the new weapons and gear instead. This method would take longer obviously, but I think it's important to have options so that certain players dont view a successful extraction as an impossible barrier to obtaining the new items.

I came up with this idea because after I completed all story episodes, Auroa felt very empty in my opinion and the AI enemies just didn't offer a good enough challenge or reward. Plus, the queue times for Ghost Wars take way too long and 90% of the time they time out after 30 or so minutes. This tells me that either there is a bug in the matchmaking or players just aren't interested in Ghost Wars anymore.

Dark Ops Zones would open the door to awesome new weapons and gear, which would give players a big incentive to participate. These zones would test the tactical abilities of players like never before and offer a new type of challenge (imagine using prone camo to hide from an enemy player).

Breakpoint already has great exploration opportunities in the form of treasure hunts, which will tie in nicely with Dark Ops and open world PvP is something I have always wanted to see in Breakpoint.

But now I want to know what the community thinks! Do you think this would be fun, or do you think too many players would find ways to abuse this new experience? Please let me know your thoughts on this and feel free to share any changes you would make :-)

I think this would be great end game content as well as a fresh new spin on PVP. Breakpoint has such a large open world, and this would be the perfect opportunity to bring more life to it. I hope everyone pitches in their 2 cents!

I would rather them focus on fixing up the PVP as it is, adding new classes, perks, maps, bringing back suppression and the Extraction game mode..

Would you be interested in custom ghost wars matches with minimal/no HUD, only 1 main weapon etc?

Hell yes! Hardcore to the max. 1 weapon, no syringes, no drones, no HUD and no magical spotting through objects. Boom!

I think this is what ghost recon PvP should be! If you're on PC, hit me up on Uplay. -Ddubdan

PVP+PVE Competition gives a person an incentive.

One large map (as 1 region) that has faction type missions + a map full of patrol robots, small tanks, checkpoints, snipers, etc. to make it difficult to access the mission. 2 teams of 4 people compete for points, which give For completing the mission ... conditional stealth 100 points, aggressive attack 50. The team with 1000 points wins (this is conditional). If a team member dies due to the fact that you do not have time to help, he returns at the beginning of the map and
you have to get into your team alone (which adds hardcore and + stah so you don't lose a teammate who will give an advantage to the enemy). P.S. Game conditions: Hardcore, The interface is almost absent, Markers There are no enemies even on the mini-map, Syringes and bandages that the game initially gives (Conventionally, 3 syringe, 5 bandages). Main weapon 1, Items limited to be distributed among the teams and makes you Compulsory to play together as a team.
