LIVE Creator 2.0 - A new version of the fan made concept for player made events

Back in 2019 I made a concept called LIVE Creator, which could be the name for a new feature in the game that allows players to create their own events, here's the link:
    https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...er-Made-Events
It attracted plenty of attention, but looking at it now it feels incomplete and lacks a lot of information and details that could be added in to make this feature more possible, so I decided to remake the whole concept from scratch, with more detailed descriptions and features.

An event creator is by far one of the most highly requested features from the community, and the reason is obvious, it would allow players to unleash their creaitivity by creating new types of events in locations that were not used yet by the developers, or to put it simply, it adds much more replay value by having all sorts of new events to do, it's no exageration when we say that such feature would truly improve the game massively, and add 10x more replay value if done right, so this concept topic is here to help making this idea more plausible to eventually become a reality.

    Update Screen Concept:

One idea I had at first is to show how it could appear in the game map, it could be located in one of the corners of the screen like how Track and Live Battle are.

    1 - Route Creation.

The idea of creating routes is simple, you place an initial point in the map where the race will begin, and after that you place checkpoints, each with it's following number, they will be connected by a line so you'll know what route the track is following, plus you can fine tune each checkpoint simply by selecting it and changing it's position.

It's radius will be determined by the position of the checkpoint poles that could also be positioned by the player, or it could just be a radius circle that can be bigger or smaller depending on the player's choice.

if the last checkpoint is close to the starting line, an option to connect is enabled, so the track becomes loopable, allowing the player to choose the number of laps. (circuit mode)

An extra option could be added called Discipline Changer, it's a mode you can add for a checkpoint where it changes the vehicle of the player, from different discinplines like from a Hyper Car to a Drift Car, or a Street Car to an Aerobatics Plane, similar to how it works in the LIVE Extreme Series.

    2 - Props Tool.

The official events loads a selection of props added for that specific event, so the same ability could be a feature for players to add more uniqueness to their events, whether these props can be used as obstacles, decoration or shortcuts. Things like ramps, barriers, loops, arrows, billboards, parked cars and more could be added in the event.

Here are some ideas for settings that you could set for each prop:

    - Collision, allows you to enable or disable the collision of a prop, so it can determine if the player can drive through it or not.

    - Breakable, it becomes an object the player can break, good example are crates and cones.

    - Floor Magnet, this one keeps the prop stuck to the ground, so you don't have to adjust it's position according to the floor, if disabled it becomes a floating prop that can be placed in any position and rotation you want.

The props tool would require an inventory of objects you can choose, they can be in different categories for easier access, also you could select a prop already present in the map, and duplicate it to place another one nearby.

    3 - Sharing

This is the most important part, the ability to share your event with the community, the game would require a new menu where you could access community made events, you can share your events but first it would require to validate it to confirm if it's playable and it's possible to reach the finish line, by that it's simple, just race your event to the end and completing it makes it's validated and available for sharing, after that you can open a settings menu where you can choose things like:

    - The time of day and weather selected for the event, or disabling it will play the time in freeroam.

    - The discipline of the event.

    - The type of event, race, stunt (stunt based events are based on points like in Monster Truck events, breaking the points circles and do stunts to get a higher rank), drag, demolition derby, drift and more.

    - enable a time limit or not, useful for time attack races where you have to reach the finish line before the time runs out.

    - Choose from a music composed for the game, one in the radio, or just turns it off.

After you're done with the settings you can add a picture, name and a description of your event to make it stand out, after it's completed, the game could auto generate a Track ID, a series of letters and numbers so you can search for that specific event, that is in case there will be several events with the same name, having the ID will make it much easier to find that specific event you want to play.

After finding the track you want, you can like, dislike and favorite that event to keep it in your list of favorite events, the number of likes will determine it's position in the Top or Best groups, the Top events are the ones most liked in the week or month, and Best are the best events of all time, you can also play your friends events.

The search bar allows you to seach the event by name or by Track ID to find the specific one you want like I mentioned above.

This is my revised concept for an event creator, if you like this concept please share with the community so more people can support the idea, hopefully we'll attract the attention of the developers to add this mode in a near future update, it will definitely a LOT more fun value to the game, and if there are any features I forgot to talk about here that could be added in, feel free to leave a reply.

Forza Horizon 4 has something similar, you actually just drive out the track you want to create and place checkpoints along the way. It's the biggest thing I miss, coming from that game.

And it seems insane that The Crew 2 doesn't have a creator, considering the ludicrously huge map they have and the fact that all the events in the game still don't touch the majority of the map.

To add some extra suggestions (which are basically forza features), the followers / bucks could just be auto-generated based on the length of the course. Playing another player's track (and/or favouriting it) could reward that player with a small amount of followers/bucks.

It seems a no-brainer to add to the game and would certainly spur more sales and easily pay for itself, development cost-wise.

...and IVT could even sell it as DLC, offering the "creation" mode only for DLC-owners, but everyone can play the created routes. I'm sure, this would still boost sales a lot. Restrict the non-DLC-owners to participation of just 10 player-made races per week, and sales will increase even more.

And one could add a leaderboard as well..

It's fun? Definitely they will not implement on the game. But, great concept buddy.

I like the idea as well, but it will take the developers more then 2 seconds to make, so it's never gonna happen
