Why don't the assassins have any advantage?
Or do they have any? let's see:
they have reflex guard, which is a headache for breach and for defense in general.
they have the least health.
have the worst feats on average.
their renown gain is the slowest and harder.
they usually have the worst perks which are a joke except for devourer and endurance which are mediocre and depending on the character headhunter can help a little bit.
characters like PK have a clumsy and somewhat slow dodge attack.
shinobi is uterly crap.
they do normal damage, so no high risk , high reward, not even deflects can make it anymore (like they used to do in pre CCU). Only zerk can do above avg dam.
Zerk with his hyper armor, shaman with her love of the devs are ok(PK 2.0 with healing and healing feats and good stamina cost relation)...gladiator with his mixes and stamina ability is decent and in (really) good hands is a threat. the others including hybrid assassins are mostly bad compared with heavies and vanguards. kensei and gryphon having better dodge attacks than all assassins lol.
is there any advantage that I dont know about? if not, what is the reasoning behind a class that are nerfed/worst in every matter on purpose?
*my pk was trying to punish a hito doing lights with dodge attack...guess what? if you do a correct read and dodge in the direction contrary of his light, hito automatically block your attack. really ubi?why my assassin is so clunky??? tip: I-FRAMES and recoveries.
Hey Ubisoft if your reading this can you pause on what your doing and focus on giving advantages for assassins in 4v4s. If your not gonna improve or remove reflex guard then at least Let assassins get there renown Gain faster, build revenge faster like other heros, and better feats. Since your main is PK I will mention the feats she has that make her annoying in dominion:
1) Bounty Hunter - Passive | Gain 20 Health & full Stamina when you kill another Hero.
2) Thick skin - Passive | After taking a hit receive 25% less damage for 3 seconds. Triggered by attacks or bashes hitting, being hit by a GB (even if countered), and any feat that causes hit-stun. Not triggered by chip damage. 5 second cooldown.
3) Sharpen Blade - For 30 seconds, inflict 10 bleed damage (in 2 ticks of 5) on each hit. 150 second cooldown. Always has 1500ms total use duration, but start up varies per-character. Peacekeeper's takes 300ms to activate.
4) Fear itself - Enemies around you take 50% more damage. 8 meter AOE that moves around with you. 20 second duration, 180 second cooldown. 600ms start up. Peacekeeper has a 600ms recovery after use.
5) Last Laugh - Passive | Drop an explosive on death. Cannot activate if executed. Deals 50-150 damage depending on how far the enemy is from the center of the 10 meter AOE. 180 second cooldown.
fear iself is somewhat good in dom I´ll give you that and last laugh is indeed very anodine for others but you must choose only one. thick skin is meh and bounty hunter is the unique truly useful (obviously if you combine it with devourer, a perk that was nerfed and is difficult to benefit since you need an execution).
Heavies and Vangs have better feats, for example being capable of cleanse bleeds in the middle of battle or to gain renown faster...or not being bothered with OOS punishes...single move kill, minion clearing ones, but yeah some are also useless in them...maybe the assassins feats only need small tweaks after all and not a full rework or new ones, I hear sugestions.

Bounty Hunter: Okay feat, but not for PK. This feat is the best during team fights to get back hp during them, and PK is thrash for team fights. Also, it only triggers if you are the one striking the killing blow, which is pretty random. I always run stealth instead. Also, this feat is nerfed heavily, 20 hp for killing a hero is not that much, it is less than a heavy attack's worth, it basically only counters being hit in the back while finishing off someone.
Thick Skin: So, if you pick this feat, that means you are equal with a Vanguard or Heavy in terms of damage resistence. Warlord has the same one, for him, it is far more useful, since he has more hp. Also, Juggernaut, the new Warden feat, or even inspire are better choices.
Sharpen Blade: Bleed damage is thrash in 4v4, a Gryphon dingles his **** around nearby nullifies this feat. All heavies and vanguards have active healing feats which will completely counter this as well. Also, it has high cooldown.
Fear Itself: An okay feat, but by the time you have unlocked it, a Vanguard would have unlocked his feats 3 minutes ago, used them once, and is available again.
Last Laugh: Unless you are stupid, you are not caught in it. If you finished your opponent with a light, you have enough time to roll out completely from the blast. If you did so with a heavy, well, you can execute. This feat is thrash. But it doesn't matter, by the time you have unlocked it, the match is likely over.
Bounty hunter is one of the strongest tier 1 feats in the game. I played PK multiple times in dominion and used it, I'm always rewarded on a kill (especially when I get revenge from being ganked, this keeps my survivability very high when I land a kill).Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
What Juggernaut feat does Warden have? You mean Thrilling comeback? Your bounty hunter is far superior to it because you don't need to enter revenge at all, you just need to land a kill. Thick skin is useful and adds to your survivability as PK.
Sharpen Blade lasts for 30 seconds. If someone uses a healing feat, you got enough time to bleed them again unless they're fighting inside a healing banner (which I stopped using personally because of how useless it is now as the block/chip damage negates the 3 tick healing it does).
Fear itself is extremely powerful and you can get it easily as long as you're getting kills.
Last Laugh needs to get deleted from the game but to refute your "just use a heavy attack lol" argument: Watch from 9:17

Stop straying from the main post. All the 3 feats he mentioned, don't add to survivability (except for thrilling come back but it's still too little of HP because you're most likely getting ganked by 2-3 players at the time who will most likely delete your 20 HP the second revenge runs out). Thick skin is a far better feat survivability wise because you don't need to enter revenge, it just works instantly the second you get hit.
