First of all, I personally just bought this game and i really enjoyed it. my first multiplayer match was a 1v1 dual. i went to get a bag of chips and came back then i saw i got disconnected by inactivity, i was playing with my friend and he had no problems because he can wait but this good'ol a$$ licking ubisoft had kick me out. i am fine with that but make the time a bit longer before kicking me out? its been less than 30 seconds. Second of all,Fcking 15 minute matchmaking penalty? what is this? even mortal kombat kicks you for inactivity but warner bros dont add this stupid "dont let you online because you're an petrified idle piece of Fck". its genuinely stupid because this is the first ever punishment i saw in any of the games i own. its my first multiplayer match as I mentioned and i got immediate 15 minute penalty strike for inactivity. i hate you ubisoft and i will never.EVER pay you're miserable greed company ANY more. even EA is much better than you as i speak now

Rage quitting is a real issue and being AFK is kind of your own fault.

1 min to get kicked out, 15 min penalty

You will quickly learn how infuriating it is to have an afk in your team in this game

And 15 min of your life is n t even a thing. Go to the hero screen menu and wander the customization or do some training.

It's a fair punishement for the bad game you gave to your team believe me.

I think there is no penalty for leaving custom matches. Also, it is 30 seconds before you are kicked for inactivity.

I don't see why there's a penalty at all. In a ranked match, yeah, I get it. But, if someone leaves in Dominion, you still get a bot to help out- still an extra body to help out and buy time.

Yeah it's literally trash. It's why I took my money back for some DLC's and just earned the heros. they are worse than EA in some ways and better in others.

Originally when they introduced the penalty it was to discourage quitting because 1 player leaving a match would crash it and send the other 7 to the menu without any xp or anything and people would do that on purpose near the end of a losing match just to screw over the winning team.

When Dedicated Servers came, they removed penalties, but players started rage quitting way too frequently, so they brought it back.

Don't blame the devs. They just did what the community asked for at that time. Barely anyone complains about it. Only you few who constantly walk away as a game is starting are complaining and frankly, the rest of us are fine with that. Cry away. We all know why you're here.

ok man calm down with this, you are a beginner thats why you dont understand why this is needed.
Give the game another chance, try to play a dom match or ranked, and you will see why this is absolutely needed, I understand sometimes you need to do things or go to the bathroom, but many many people are just so toxic they will quit on purpose or going afk just for trolling, so yeah penalty is a thing here that everyone with a decent experience will support.
