Is The Division 2 worth it? (PC)

Hey there, i'm someone who played a fair bit of the first game and i liked it, and i've been meaning to ask, now that this game is on sale, is The Division 2 worth it? how does it compare to the first game? and is it really better than the first game?

If so, is it worth it to just buy the base game, or also buy the game and the expansion? also, at how much content and lenght time i'd be looking at the game?

It is worth it, especially on sale.
Yes, you are actually NEED that WoNY DLC

I'd said TD1 was more atmospheric (and not only because I like winter more), but technically TD2 is way better.

Length time? This is looter shooter, story here is something like 5 hours or so (just the same as in TD1)
Everything else - grind, grind, grind.

What to grind? Watch level, better gear, doing season tasks etc.

    1. At $18 for the game and expansion, this is a steal.
    2. After playing part 2 for so long, it's difficult to play the first game again.
    3. Better is not the word that comes to mind first. The games literally have their moments side by side.

Content length and time depends on how often/seriously you play the game, as with all games that don't bottleneck progression. When Warlords first released, it felt really boring to be repeating content so I put the game down for 10 months. I came back recently and the systems are fully fleshed out now. They would have to really mess things up to make me drop it again.

Ah, i see. It's just that i've seen some unnatural strong hate for this game, and it got me thinking: "If this game fixes a lot of the things of the first game, then how come there's such strong hate directed towards this game, especially after being praised?"

Change will always be met with opposition, good or bad. The "hate" I personally felt was just the fact that certain rewards were locked behind things like raids which I as a casual gamer with a full-time job don't care for at this point in life.

Adding to that the fact that there wasn't a lot of gear to choose from during early game/early expansion, I just gave them time to get it together.

The thing you need to understand about the "hate" for this game is that it 100% of the time is coming from players with thousands of hours in the game that have completed almost everything, and exhausted virtually every possible ounce of gameplay that's available.

Division 2 has flaws. LOTS of flaws. But it also has a lot of fun as well.

As someone else said earlier: for $15-20 The Division 2 + Warlords of New York is an AMAZING value if you've never played the game at all. And if you generally enjoyed the Division 1, then you will absolutely enjoy the second game.

Literally, even if you only played the story through once and never returned, it's worth $20.

Who said it's a bug from Ubisoft? My game work like a charm. And i am not the only one.
If it was a problem from Ubisoft, then all pc would crash... but it's not the case.

It is NOT hate , it is frustration , players wanting the game fixed.. Buy the game play it enjoy it , it is worth the full price .. I moan about the game as i want it fixed .. it has lost its story and just became another shooter, i just pop in every week or so to see if any update has fixed anything , but as always the updates break more then they fix. So the real team for this game must be working on another game and left this to the apprentice team ..

Even with the bugs it is one of the best games out there... and one of the most frustrating .. Most on here have 1000s of hours in this game , that must show how good it is..

Your logic is very flawed. My game works fine, and the people I know, so unless everyone experiences the issue then it isn't the game.
