Hello all, I've been playing on PC again after a hiatus, and am using a PS4 controller. When I initially load the game, it will display PS4 icons for about two seconds before converting to XBox button icons. I've turned off steam controller options, set the option in the in-game settings to display PS icons, and still it refuses to display them. Is there a fix to this, or do I just have to deal? It isn't the biggest issue, as I know the layout of the xbox controller in relation to the PS4, but it is irritating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
So while recording a clip for you, I noticed that a steam controller config was still loading even though I had gone through steps I'd found online to fix this issue. I eventually found that if you go into big picture mode, library, and into For Honor, you can click on manage game. Then you go into controller settings, and turn Steam Input Per Game to Forced Off. This solved the issue and I now have PS4 icons! Thanks!
