Let me just start out by saying this is my opinion but I do not agree with the removal of this, thick blood, feat. I'll explain why, while it does nullify the main damage output for some characters, I'm looking at you Peacekeeper, and is otherwise useless if the opposing team doesn't have a bleed character; I find it a good trade-off. If I do have it equipped and there is no bleed spamming character then that is my loss and gives the opposition an advantage due to the Warden only having access to 3 feats out of the potential 4. I hope that makes sense. But that is a disadvantage I am more than happy to have because in my time played almost every fight has a bleed character that is more agile and can always light spam or fast combo into bleed.
The solution that Ubisoft has put forward of adding a feat that heals while in revenge is good on paper but in practice is not as good. This may just be me, but I don't think it is, but when I get revenge it's usually because I'm am getting ganked by 3 or 4 characters that keep attacking even if you try to continue to block or attack. Inevitably you take damage that nullifies the healing effect because of how little and how slow it heals. My thoughts here I don't have numbers yet but it's what I've seen. What it boils down to is that the devs have decided to replace one feat that worked as a counter with few characters with a feat that is not helpful.
Potential solutions could be to make thick blood slow bleed and not stop it entirely or make the regenerated heath something that can't get spammed into oblivion in a 1v3 or 1v4. If you have anything to add or potential solutions please add them, or educate me on why I'm wrong. If I failed to make sense please let me know what was wrong and I'll try to clarify more. Stay healthy during these COVID times.
While I do agree that that feat was cancer and not good for the game (just like wardens back dodge into shoulder bash), what is insanely inconsistent is the fact that thick blood is a problem BUT GRYPHON'S AND WARMOMY'S FEATS ARE NOT?? Srsly?
I am all up for feat rebalances, but this was a priority? And not, for instance, highlander's almost-instant-mini-nukes?
Yes, this was absolutely the priority. I know that is might suck that you don't get additional unfair advantages while playing the best duelist in the game, but well, deal with it.
Or, as I always said, make it available again, and give PK and Nobu a feat that makes them completely immune to bashes. That seems fair.
He is still one of the best duelists. But even if he is not, for how long is that? One day?
I honestly don't care which one is more broken, especially since this one is around from day 1. They could have axed something else first, they could have axed many things at the same time, but it is definetely not a wrong place to start. It made 4 heroes and multiple feats useless from day 1. I won't complain if they continue with Rocksteady instead of Gryphon's crossbow or WM's T1 either. Best if they do them together, and it is honestly logical to do it while the hero is balanced at the same time.
Breach is always as unplayable as ever. What makes it so is mainly how unbalanced the game mode is, and how someone on your team can destroy the entire experience.

As a defender, it is far less effective, the only thing you can use it for is buying time, the attackers can't lose progress by retreating for 15 seconds. Gryphon is just as bad for bleed heroes as Warden was before this was removed. But again, having someone more broken doesn't really mean it is not justified to remove this, especially since it is clear why did they do it now: they had a look around Warden. Not a very good look if they did not balance his idiotic lvl 1 and lvl 3 uniques (I can't recall a time where I have ever seen the latter in action).
Hopefully, they balance feats soon. Most of the og cast have very bad ones (excluding a few feats, like Rocksteady, which is quite broken).
Ah yes one more of the post:
Hey guys I mainly used Thick Blood and now I have to suffer from the fact that it’s gone and I never really learned how to deal with bleed dmg and bleed based heroes.
There honestly shouldn’t be a feat that negates / lowers / slows a dmg type that is inferior and only can really be used profitability by 3 heroes.
The new feat ain’t even bad, you get 20 HP when you enter revenge for a tier 2 this is rather amazing.
If you get ganked by 3-4 people then that’s because of two things:
1: Your team lost a Team fight
2: You are out of position
In both cases your fault.
While I do understand your reasoning it is backwards in my opinion.Originally Posted by Justicator Go to original post
In my opinion it doesn’t matter in which order they rebalance / replace broken feats, because any broken feat less is one broken feat less which is good in my book.
Agree to disagree, multiple times I'll be "In position" when along comes a gank. Tonight for example 2 Peacekeepers and 2 Kenseis, no chance there even with another teammate. Since you seem to be such an opinionated feller maybe you'd care to share with the class how you'd deal with the bleed ganks that are now running around. Really, give some good advice, always wanting to learn.
