Warden Thick Blood Vs Kensei Unblockable

As a Warden main, I’m slightly upset with the latest rework taking away Thick Blood. I understand it hurts heroes who revolve around bleed, but even when using Thick Blood, I have seen shamans and peacekeepers beat me perfectly through combination of other aspects in their moveset. But I must raise a question. Why does Kensei get to keep his fourth feat where it causes all of his attacks to become unblockable. It would be one thing if I could dodge and stop his next attack, but Kensei has Uninterruptible on chained attacks. This means even if I successfully dodge or deflect an attack, he can still hit me and punish my dodge. Many Kensei mains say to get good and parry the attacks, but most players aren’t going to parry lights as they are fast and very difficult to parry unless read because a person does the same thing over and over. This feat allows people playing Kensei to light spam without worry of being blocked and can punish dodging with little damage taken. It gets worse when paired with the Smoke Bomb feat, meaning a person can’t lock on to the Kensei attacking them, can’t see the guard, and has a daze effect making it harder to see who is where. This is a hero who needs more of a rework or feat replacement then Warden, because Warden invalidated only 3 heroes. Kensei invalidates almost the entire roster when using these two feats together, let alone just the Unblockable feat. This is just what I think, let me know some of the thoughts on this.

(Smoke bomb still also is bugged on points as well)

It’s because Ubisoft goes by the majority of what people say and since half and half of the community are split on this kind of topic they can’t really do much about it. Why do you think that there’s still major issues with light spamming in the game no matter what they try to do to solve the issue?

Dont know what special kinda of stuff someone needs to smoke to defend thick blood and then compare it with kenseis unblockable feat.

Light spam is a issue in low and mid rank and that was always like that even before CCU.

Only valid fix is for the people to improve

Yeah, the Warden thicken blood being taken is just bad. I also don't agree with the back shoulder doge being taken but can understand it. The thick blood though... Oof. But that just my two senses and I'm sure there are plenty of people who disagree with me. The feat that replaced it on paper is a good idea but 9 times out of 10 when revenge is activated it's because you're getting ganked and that health regen does nothing for you.

Smoking it is probably not enough, it might need to be ingested. I am not surprised how pathetic some Warden mains are to be honest though. It doesn't matter that the stuff is the most unfair stuff ever, as long as it is their character that can equip it, it is balanced. Well, if you would ask a Gryphon main, his feats are balanced as well, they still have a cooldown, and they only heal them to full and cleanse everything, including their allies, it still don't instakill, and sometimes they have to spam dodge attacks if they don't have the T3 available.

    It’s just so stupid.

One feat is a feat that almost completely negates a almost inferior dmg type that heroes that are based on it need to get there special gimmicks.

The other is a tier 4 with 20 second duration and a cool down of 150 seconds.

It’s unlocked way later in the game and can be negated by just spacing out for the duration seeing how Kensei meaningful gab closers are all easy parried if you expect them or if you just pretty good at parrying attacks then it’s almost useless anyways.

It almost feels like that what I told some wardens is kinda true: That they should not mainly use that feat because as soon as it gone they will have to learn to deal with bleed dmg again.

The new feat itself ain’t that bad either, like 20 HP upon entering revenge for tier 2 isn’t that bad. (Rather sad that only nuxia and warden have it, I can see it as the new stable feat for warden but I think nuxia will keep her ground trap seeing how much utility she gets from them)

Thick blood and back dodge into SB gone is a good thing and will make FH healthier. If only it didn't take literal years to fix other problematic feats/moves, especially certain feats that have been an issue for over a few years now, that would be grand...

The new feat seems very powerful indeed. I will definetely play some Warden now. Will be weird after two years.

I’m going to be honest here. I’ve read a decent amount of your posts, and a lot of what you say is pretty invalid. I do agree that Warden’s Thick Blood needed to be nerfed, but it should not have been taken out. Turning it into an active feat would cause a person to only have so much time with it. Comparing to a feat that actually needs to be taken out was actually the point of my entire discussion. I don’t appreciate you being rude, but I do understand your point. However, the Unblockable feat that is on Kensei should be taken out as I explained, it is a very busted feat and causes most heroes if not all problems.
