Legendary Healer Build - Help needed please.

As the title suggests I'd like to get a Legendary healer build going. I've been watching some YouTube but I'm really unsure if they are relevant (I'm a new player and the vids seem old)

Whets the best set up for me to build. Survivability seems key (dead healers don't heal)

Specialisation , gear set, mods, weapons etc.

    Thanks.

I prefer no healer in Legendary missions in general. For some of the rooms, I use a healer build rolled with all skill damage, with the healer hive and attack drone.

    My Raid healer build is:

4 piece Future initiative with all repair skills rolled (mask, chest, holster, and knees).

    BTSU gloves.

Alps Backpack with Opportunistic. Many use Safeguard, which is a fine choice, but you can double debuff chungs and bosses with the Scorpio and Opportunistic.

I use Survivalist, but see many use Technician as well.

If you don’t have the Future chest yet, look for one with Emphatic Resolve.

I can't tell you what the current meta build is or even if mine is good overall, but my current Support build is 4-pc Future Initiative + 2-pc Hard Wired (mostly for the haste boost). All pieces rolled for max (+20%) Repair Skills. Specialization is Technician. Mods are all skill haste. I use a Fixer drone and secondary skill varies between Artificer and healing hive (depending on what my team mates are using).

I can say the build is crazy good at healing the entire team, and I can recover all skills super quick too. It does lower my DPS and armor enough that it truly relegates me to a support role (I use this one when I am beat). As a result weapons vary, but lately it was The Mop for secondary and Diamondback for primary, but I am always experimenting here so don't put much into that as a recommendation. I was thinking of swapping in for a Nemesis so I can stay way back, toss out healing skills and snipe from a safe distance next time I am on with my clan.

dont take summit legendary as an example on legendary mission, mission is much harder than summit ones. same build didn't work on mission. then there was no legendary build.

Here's two legacy healer builds I've been experimenting with when Legendaries were introduced.
Generally, since the Legendaries have been nerfed a lot and Turret/Drone Builds got even more viable
with Capacitator, having a dedicated healer isn't really needed anymore.

Like said, those are legacy dedicated healer builds and I haven't used them in ages, they should still be viable to try though,
throw in a Capacitor and you'll have some decent weapon damage as well.

My go to is Alps summit gear 3 pieces, BTSU gloves and Murakami 2 pieces, and use Healer Hive and chem heal launcher and everything is rolled to boost healing aka repair skills and you can if the group gets in trouble use Chem launcher on group destroy the hive and get overcharge and the chem launched heal on the ground for some reason can get a boost, if it gets a big boost it can help out and you can drop your hive again with the overcharge and have full stacks on it again, so that is a ohh s.... thing, and you can go with either survivalist for the increased healing boost or go with Demolitionist for some boost to survivability from drones you can take that one hit and stay up however that is only if you have enough points in the specialization to unlock the specific attributes the specialization can give you.

As for talent on chest and backpack Empathic resolve and safeguard would be my go to on chest and backpack, cant recall what the healing boost one on weapon is called i use Scorpio or capacitor depending on what kind of group i am in since i should only focus on healing and keeping the dps up so they can clear.

If you do not have healing mods as a healer you can go with something to keep yourself up protection from elites or even skill haste mods.

Just make sure it is not incoming repairs you get on the gear since that is healing boost you get not that you do to others, that would be repair skills.

    @OP

Here's mine. But you're gonna need FI Chest & Backpack from Iron Horse Raid to run it like this.

Healer is good, buit on some legendary big open area levels like roosevelt island, capital building - it tends to make players sit in cover and allow black tusk to bomb them to smithereens.

one or two grenades can take you out. I woudl pair it with 1 or 2 explsoive resistance since it's almost crucical in legendary.
