    is the spotter talent working?

Hi i have a ps4 and ps5 but have not tested on my ps4. How do i know if the spotter talent is working? For instance in the shooting range if i have spotter active with the technician linked laser pointer in the shooting range my damage numbers do not change. i have 6 different chest pieces with spotter i switched them with the exact same brand chest piece with talents such as unbreakable and vangaurd which would not up my damage however the damage numbers are identical is the shooting range messed up or is the talent not working or was there a recent patch?

Hello Calmking1984, welcome to the forums!

Have you tested this talent in PVP by any chance? Additionally, can you please provide us with a short video fo this occurring, so we can investigate it further? Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

This answer is absolutely ridiculous from Ubisoft a,
He shouldn’t have to play PvP to test!
The right answer should have been “thank you for forwarding this concern! The shooting range has been messed up for over 2 years now, with no possible fix in sight!
Sorry your gear talents are not working properly!
    We will investigate this further!”
That’s the answer you should be giving!
To calmking, u get better answers by talking to yourself in the mirror than posting game problems with support staff here!
This is a total money grab company!

The Linked Laser Pointer does not pulse shooting range targets, only actual enemies. Enemies clearly light up/glow when pulsed; a little bit of testing in the real world will show you exactly what this looks like. For testing Spotter damage in the shooting range, you can equip the Scanner Pulse skill and use that to pulse the targets.

(Sorry about the very late reply, but I am on PC so I didn't see this until it happened to pop up in a search. Consider posting messages that are not PS3-specific to the General Discussion forum; had it been posted there I would have answered it right away.)
