Hyper Armor Punishes and Deflecting Unblockables

I mean what do you think because hyperarmor is one if the annoying thing in the game. But what do you think about losing stamina while getting hit by the opponent when trading with hyper armor attacks. Also should we deflect unblockables since they aren't undodgeable attacks or we can't block them. Should we be at least allow to deflect them.

Should opponents lose stamina while getting hit by there opponents when trading with hyper armor? Also should we be able to deflect unblockables? I post this a while ago back in Jan.

The hyperarmored thing is obviously a no. If the opponent hits you while you have Hyperarmor, hyperarmor is doing its job, and your opponent made a mistake (unless he traded a Raider's fury for a Shugoki light).

Defense is still too strong in the game with the many optionselect possibilities. Definetely don't need one more.

I would definitely say u should not. U have to parry them and get the right read or reaction. This dumb idea only can come from an assassin main...The only thing that should be work on is that every deflect from an assassin should be stop the hyperarmor chain...

Yes make deflects end the opponent's chain. Actually a great idea.

Agreed, they should stop chains. The only actually S tier assassin already does by the guardbreak followup.

Deflecting has always struck me as a bizarre mechanic. It's been the "your guard decays, but" feature; something to explore once you reach the skill-ceiling. I'm not convinced the game would even have it if it was made with the experience gained from last few years.

Hyper armour beating most deflects is fine. If you're getting smacked by Raiders, it's probably because they're counting on you to deflect; it's always gonna trade in their favour.

edit: I'd be okay with seeing deflects work against unblockables. It might confuse the game rules a little, but a deflect isn't a block. Kensei, Valkyrie, etc. have literal block properties on their dodges, so it'd make sense for unblockables to still go through them, much like crushing counters. Deflects are technically different rules.
