    Multiple games problem

In this past months, i see many gaming companies being hacked. Capcom, Ubisoft, CDPR, and some other games being even ddosed.
What is happening? Are hackers gone mad if they waste their resources to hack some gaming companies and event attack their servers?
Does Ubisoft still haves that problem with hackers compromising their data?

Wait, let me call to the famous russian hackers and ask them

Damn, man, seriously, in the most cases they have no idea about that stuff and even if they do - they would never publish that info.
Servers are fine for past month tho

They steal info to sell it.
Although, i can't see how selling an old code could help. Since companies can simply take legal action against buyers if they use that code in their product (license).

Well, they care about money. It's not fool the one who offer, the fool is the one who buys. Once they sell to a not so smart buyer, their job is finished. Still....so much effort to hack a gaming company just to sell a gaming data...like Gwent's, for example.
Or some hackers just ddos-ing....i mean for what? For fun? To be show-offs?

There are 2 reasons to hack - lock up data for ransom and find customer files with personal information - why would they steal code? There is already lots of game hacking sites offering cheat packages on this game.
