I bought my game with and had access to all 3 mission stories. I updated the game and it locked me out of Mission 3. Now its telling me that I have repurchase DLC. I will never preorder or buy from Ubisoft again.Originally Posted by Legsplitter Go to original post
The true disappointment here is that theoretically this game model could work really well if implemented correctly and with regular two way commas with the studios and devs, they could have easily been doing weekly but fixes and releasing them in tuesdays when the raids were re-setting, with new faction missions being added every month to further enhance the overall storyline when the next episode Drops.Originally Posted by FCacGRdvWD Go to original post
Stuff that would have easily kept the fan base occupied and playing. Even if they were only fixing 1 or two bugs per week. The factions storylines for example could have actually played a much bigger role in the game as you start to train and equip the Outcasts in guerrilla tactics, Skell and his team in Erewhon could also be playing a much bigger role in providing support to help defeat the drones and disable the drone swarm towers. Midas, Holt, hirouhi and Mads should be running an ad hoc Ops centre from Erewhon, co-ordinating all movement of Outcast fighters and your team
But this is Ubisoft we’re talking about, and Paris specifically have no interest in communicating with the fan base, or indeed by the looks of BP in making an authentic Squad based tactical shooter anymore
They did a similar thing with The Division 2 game.Originally Posted by Legsplitter Go to original post
Some of the settings and future contents only available if you buy the Warlords of New York DLC. The story of the previous The Division game also continued with this DLC.
I am sorry Sandilands85, and I mean zero disrespect here but the true disappointment is that THIS has been Ubisoft modus operandi for years now (with pretty much all of their games, you only need to go to their individual forums to see it) and I don't know if people are just naïve or what because it never fails, even in this 10 lbs sack with the 25 lbs crap inside called BP, everyone seems like they are getting their forks and pitches out for days, weeks and even months and when new content drop (crappy as all hell mind you, adding more bugs than the game had before) they are ready to clean the whole Studios shoes for a year (it seems) and 3 weeks later, the whole ruckus and commotions starts again with pitches and fork, rinse and repeat, new guys praying and defending the game only to be gone by next month or two and it is what we have been doing all year.Originally Posted by Sandilands85 Go to original post![]()
After a while, you keep on blaming Ubisoft because it is warranted but c'mon, we need to take responsibility for our own actions as well, otherwise, they will take the blame and your money as well. Oh! wait! they already did![]()
After rescuing Skell, I felt like an errand boy, doing everyone's work while not getting help from anyone. Made me push towards the end, which was weird, lazy, and unsatisfying.Originally Posted by Rafi-KtC Go to original post
Yes, but just in general if I buy a game I expect a conclusion not freaking cliffhanger trying to force me to pay more. I'm all for dlc if it add to core story not if they ARE the core story. Total BS. I don't think this is something I should expect. Wildlands...all far cry's....just to pick a few Ubi games, all have endings with actual conclusions. Glad I got the game on sale.Originally Posted by HighlyTactical Go to original post

I have a couple associates over there in Paris who are willing to take legal action based on several accounts of ubisoft's constant method of luring in game sales by advertising a content filled, appealing product by using flashy "gameplay" trailers which often do not depict the final product that will be shipped to end-users.
They have a long list of compiled issues and complaints from reports towards several ubisoft games as well as visual evidence and representation of promotional material not reflecting the final product. Right now said associates are just waiting for the right time to act.
