Gryphon needs to be nerfed already..proof

Gryphon needs to be dubbed down just a little bit more stamina drain or something it's crazy how his attacks are faster than an assassin..but here's a clip of a guy playing him blindfolded against good players ..

To be honest if he was winning that much then the people he was going against was trash. The only problem with Gryphon is frame advantage. Hes not broken by simply unbalanced. Just because a blind person beat people who don't even like experience in the game doesn't mean he needs a nerf. Literary them people didnt even try to dodge or parry. If the guy in the video went against KingMisty then it would be different.

Let's say berserker came in the game just now and someone played him blindfolded. People would say hes easy and broken because of hyper armor. Like I said Gryphon needs less frame advantage on kick and Guardbreak Vulnerability. That's All

Gryphon definitely needs some tweaks against him, true.

That video however is absolute garbage.

You realize someone also did a blindfolded shinobi video?

    Here's how it goes:

    1. Pick any hero. Blindfold yourself. Hit record.

    2. Play for as long as it takes to win a few duels and then stop.

    3. Cut out any duels you lost and leave the wins.

    4. Post on youtube.

I don't really play this game anymore, maybe 6 hours total since Gyrpon's release. I stopped because of no single pick and he was cancer being stacked in MM with those feats.. never really got to even know him but it felt like he was annoying for sure.

I check these forums like maybe once a week, and there seems to always be Gryphon complaints. The reason I quoted this from you, is I wanted to point out that across here and reddit, every time I see a Gryphon complaint, someone comes in to defend him and say "the only problem with Gryph is XXXX" and I swear, ever single possible thing has been listed collectively now from people defending Gryph as not being OP. "The only problem with Gryph is his dodge attack, his damage, his feats, his undodgeables, his kick, his range, his yada yada yada yada"...

Just wanted to point that out.

And also, the blindfold play just shows how unfun the CC changes actually made this game. Everything is supposed to be unreactable... you'd like to think this is creates "predictive play" but you need to be matched against someone for a very very long time to establish patterns to predict. What it actually turned out to mean in general For Honor gameplay, is you basically rock/paper/scissors spam whatever attacks or dodges.... in other words you randomly guess what to do next. So you might as well play blindfolded.

    Real talk.

What a crock of horse ****. Not only do you grossly misunderstood the goals of the ccu but you've zero clue on what predictions and read based play is.

If the devs wanted the gameplay to be pure read based they would've made it so. The devs purposefully ride the line of borderline reactable offense for general play.

Predictions and reads do not need to and are not precise. Often times the only way you'll correctly read what someone does specifically is because this game is so ******g limited in terms of how you can actually fight back that there's very little what someone can actually do.

You can make hard reads once you've caught someone long enough. And you make this happen by baiting them. Not because you spend hundreds of hours living in someone's head space.

But you absolutely do not need to do that in order to make reads against opponents. Really just goes to show you've never played a proper fighter. And that at best you listened long enough to think you understand the terms you use.

Again them people in video weren't trying to avoid or parry his attacks. Sure the game is unbalanced but it doesn't mean Gryphon broken. People complain all the time about him and the reasons we include details about Gryphon not being broken is because we don't want to affect a hero that doesn't need to be affected all because people don't know how to play defensive in the game. He is like kenshi a bit with his dodge but no ones complains about kenshi. His kick is fast but so is warlord headbutt. Personally I don't see the problem and people just complain with out reasonable explanations but rather complain. At least some people like this forum. Again the video was trash because he went against bad people or more specific low levels. No parrying, Dodging, or anything special form his opponents and he was just doing random things. Honestly if yall can't see hes not unbalanced rather than broken then you guys just can't go against Gryphon. All he needs is less frame advantage and more guardbreak Vulnerability. Just my opinion.

Don't get me wrong he is not unbeatable. Just a few tweaks will make him more balanced..I don't even play with him because it's too easy right now! My biggest thing is his light attacks and damn near undodgeable side attacks other than that he's not that badd but come on man blindfolded !! That's crazy to me don't matter how bad the players were..

Here is an easier method, the one people likely use in reality:

    1. Play some duels, choose some you win.
    2. Make an around 10 minutes long footage of you playing around blindfolded while listening the sounds of the duel.
    3. Edit them together.
    4. Upload, name according the BS agenda you want to prove.

But even if this would be honest, it would prove nothing but the vast skill differences.
