Gravely concerned about zerks inclusion in TG. But everything else is good. Plenty of stuff I'm happy for or at least glad to see. Trying to temper my hype though. This game is memes about for missed potential afterall.

Zerk needs to be in the TG. They need to do some testing of HA removal and figure out what he would need for compensation when they remove HA from his lights.

Yes for honor has missed a lot of its own potential, but it was also laid out by an entirely different team. The newer team is finally finding some good footing and they seem to be really getting on track now.

That's why they got rid of it. It nulifies those 3's kits and that's just stupid.

Learn how to counter them instead of using a passive feat that counters them for you. It's a skill based game, after all.

I liked a majority of the changes. Testing grounds work is always a plus and it's good to see that characters are still being evaluated and changed. A little worried about warden's new feat but we'll see. My main disappointment is the executions. I think the universal ones are so lame compared to character specific. I remember looking forward to the executions at the start of each season to see what new finishers each character could pull off. The universal ones just take away that flavor and are too magical that they almost break the immersion for me. If it's because mocap is currently unavailable that's understandable, but I hope that doesn't means they'll never come back. I mean warmonger and gryphon still only have four executions specific to them...

Zerk was already hit hard from the ccu update. If you look at his damage values in combination of stamina cost and pair that with his health you can see that he needs to land at least two hits in most scenarios for trading to be in his favor.

I really disagree with removing his armor anywhere. Considering that's where he was at launch and it was awful. I cannot think of a way to buff him significantly that wouldn't change who he his to appease the whinging of those who struggle against zerk.

Uhhhhhhh dude no. At launch, zerk only got armor on the 4th swing and beyond. Removing HA on his lights and leaving him with HA on his heavy chains is not nearly as bad as zerk at launch, not to mention zerk has gotten other things since then as well, like UB side finishers.

Really what they should do is just make feints end the chain. This way they could leave his HA on lights, but zerk wouldn't be able to feint directly into HA anymore. It's bad when you can just feint a heavy into another heavy (or light) and get HA on the first committed swing.

I remember. I'm saying it would be just as bad if you removed any of his HA. His unblockables are bolstered by the fact that he can feint into HA moves. Removing HA from either his lights or heavies makes that scenario a dead one because you'd be able to stuff it half the time.

Ah yes, let's axe his offense because he's attemtping to be offensive. Zerks chains are incredibly limited as is. His non heavy finishers are severely reactable even on console since they slowed them down from the ccu. Like I don't claim to be a great zerk. But when I can sit there and actually have over half of my heavies parried because I committed to them that really says something.

I severely urge you to actually learn his kit. And then go learn how much stamina it costs him to do actually land attacks against people who can decently react. And then tell me that it's a problem that he can trade. Because giving up nearly half of my stamina bar just to consistently land two attacks doesn't feel great.
