I've tried everything but nothing helps I simply cannot run the game for more than 5 mins without it crashing without any crash report or anything. I'm pretty sure I tried everything when it comes to fixing this mess from altering files to disabling certain features in-game and out. If any of you have suggestions I would appreciate the help.
This is the crash that is affecting some players since the latest patch. It affects me and everyone I know who plays the game, to a greater or lesser degree. Because it isn't consistent, and doesn't seem to affect everyone and because there is no error message, it is hard for the devs to track down.
I can play days with no crash, then it will crash every few minutes until I reboot and wait 5 minutes or so before restarting the game. There seems to be little or no logic to it. Everyone and his wife have a theory as to what is causing it, My own number one suspect is EAC. Purely since I had experience of similar EAC-related crashes due to locked files in 2020 when AMD released a beta driver with an unsigned file in it and I was stupid enough to download it.
At this time the team is still working on trying to find a solution to this problem, and are asking for affected players to submit DxDiag files to assist us in our investigation. As CoOp_Gordon mentioned, this issue is proving to be a difficult one to track down and sort out, so it is taking longer than expected to find a solution. But rest assured this is at the top of our priority list, and we hope to have a fix soon.
Your understanding and patience is appreciated in the mean time.![]()
I am probably missing something but -- Why doesn't the the game automatically request a crash report?
It happened to me only once & I gave it permission. Usually a crash for me is a shutdown & restart.
I thought I solved mine because of slow fan speed , by mistake it was set at normal. Even though temps seemed
ok I increased fan speed, made no difference. Oh its clean too -
The game asks for crash report which I sent at least 10 times. Go to your settings > General > Network in UBI connect and make sure you don't have send crash report disabled.Originally Posted by Rodnaz Go to original post
So funny - When we send MSinfo and DxD support tells us to create a new win10 account or reinstall the game - why even try anymore?Originally Posted by UbiFate Go to original post
I got 3 CTD this morning - then I left the game and start playing Outriders - for more than 4 weeks you haven´t found a fix for your bug - Its a %¤#@& joke
On my system I have W10 installed on a dedicated 1TB SSD (C: Local Disk) and another dedicated 4TB SSD for my games (D: Games). They told me the problem was most likely down to me having the game installed on a portable drive. I don't have a portable drive, just the two internal SSDs. They really are incompetant.Originally Posted by Regnar_Lothbrok Go to original post
