ok this one has me stumped, ubisoft past over it I guess because its an older game. I have a

evga rtx 3090 ftw3 ultra
when I play the game with all 48 threads, the game runs on avg in benchmark 54 fps.
when I set msconfig to load only 16 threads the game runs at an avg of 106 fps
ok so that is so far apart there has to be something going on here. I want to understand why this could happen. And of course to see if there is a fix. ironically the only reason I reduced the thread count was because I had a similar issue with my old inte 6950x where the game child of light (another ubisoft game) only ran on 17 threads or less. When I load in the hd textures the avg for the 48 threads goes up to 91 avg while the 16 thread stays at 106 avg. If anyone can give me anything to look at or advice Id love it, this has me shaking my head.
Its not a cpu heat issue either, I have the thermosiphon icegiant. In prime 95 after an hour the hottest the cpu package got was 96c for fractions of a second twice. Needless to say in a game it gets like 49c. the gpu also only gets to around 61c its pretty cool. Any questions please ask, all drivers are up to date, and all hardware was independantly checked for issues upon 1st build of the system. other than tyhat I cant figure out why this would happen.
my only teory is because the game ran better when the hd textures were turned on running 48 threads. Maybe when the HD textures are not loaded there is not enough information going to the cpu and the 48 threads are actually slowing things down. Its a rough theory but its my only one thanks.
