Judging by the majority of your posts, it sounds like you should just go play some Ghost of Tsushima. It's a fantastic game, which I'm sure is why you are making all these suggestions. However, before someone else decides to rip you a new poop chute about historic accuracy, I'll say it nicely: Ubisoft's goal from the beginning has been authenticity in terms of armor and weapon design for the heroes. They haven't always been successful, and they may have deviated from that goal a bit in terms of executions and effects, but nevertheless, authenticity is the goal. The armor you see in Ghost of Tsushima is certainly aesthetically pleasing, but historically, I'm pretty sure it is inaccurate.
I know this is your personal preference, but I'm just airing my own personal preference, and my preference leans toward authenticity.
Azulra_1, I'm FULLY aware of the copyright; I use words and phrases like "similar to" and "something like" for a reason. And I realize that the chances of any of my ideas (or anything similar to them) ever get implemented into the game are very low. I'm just posting things that I would hopefully like to see in the game one day. I don't care if you don't agree with or like any of my ideas, but stop commenting on my posts if you're only going to complain about the originality of them.
You do realize that when it comes to copyright violation something that is similar to someone else’s ideas is still going to be counted as taking their ideas.
Btw I hope that you do realize that Ubisoft hates it when people decide to talk about a rival company’s products on any of their sites as well. If you literally advertise a rival company’s products on For Honor and you keep doing it they’d eventually ban you. So I’m not sure what it’d be like on here, but I don’t think that their view about that topic is gonna change.
It's a little spiced up, which is fine, game companies should definitely apply some creative license. Much of the armor in Ghost has a solid foundational design regarding Samurai armor, but they added some of their own creative juices to make the armor look more appealing, which deviates from that authenticity that Ubi is after.
And...ignore Azula. They have some strong opinions, which is totally fine on a forum, but you can't let them get to you. Anyone who begins their post with "You do realize" is going to come off as extremely condescending, and oftentimes they are. Just gotta let him air his opinion, even if you disagree, and ignore him.
