I know five players that are all on PlayStation 4, none of us can launch the crew. It says the PS in servers are unavailable, but all of us can play all of our other games on the PlayStation at work. Therefore, it isn’t the PlayStation network but it is this game. Because five different players are only limited to not play the crew. Is anyone else having this issue? What about Xbox? What about PC? I know that the five people I know we’re not the only people locked out of this game. Do I need to open a support ticket? Or, do the support people actually read these threads?
On pc it all works fine... mostly.
There's somekind of issue with the server that ubisoft uses, taking a very long time to connect and trace back, which results in either chat ingame taking long time to connect, or syncing to other players around or with your own friends
(and before any community manager tells me to go through connection troubleshoot guide again, i did open my ports... changed nothing)
You guys could try and contact ubisoft support directly via live chat, and try and get your issue resolved... Since community managers don't look into tc1 forum frequently.

If you own Xbox version of The Crew game, in order to play the game on PC, you will need to purchase game copy that will be suitable for the right platform otherwise you will not be able to launch it.
If you have any further questions, let us know!

I can see that you've posted the exact same issue in multiple threads so to keep it all in one place, I've replied to you here, so have a look when you get a chance!
Hey S5yn3T, thanks for getting in touch!Originally Posted by S5yn3T Go to original post
Just to make sure I understand your query correctly - you are able to connect to the game without any issues other than it taking a little longer than per usual to connect, is that right? Let us know!
Ye that's about right.Originally Posted by Ubi-Karl Go to original post
I can connect to the game, but it takes quite a while to connect to anyone around.
sometimes i can drive alone for 20 minutes while being near the Hub areas where there should be player activity, yet its still a ghost town.
As per support instructions i flushed everything, opened ports (finally gave in)... nothing changed.
The only dots i can connect is that i experienced an error during this month's 1st summit qualifier, where the game violently kicked me out of the game with an error code, and ever since its been slow to connect to.
Trace back takes about 31-33 hops to connect to ubisoft.com, 26 of which are "time exceeded"

Thank you for getting back to us with that!
We'd be more than happy to look into this further with you if troubleshooting hasn't resolved your issue
Could you please contact us directly via our Support Site or you can also reach us on Facebook and Twitter and attach images of your Port Forwarding and an uncensored version of the image above? This will allow us to check for Double NAT
Thank you!
Couple days later, and looks like we back to the server degradation
Can't sync up with random drivers for about 20-30 minutes.
Can't sync up with friends in a crew, trying to play summit events.
Heck when we do sync up in freedrive, once a desync hits that shows no signs of us reconnecting, we end up forced to restart the game to sync up again.
Hello S5yn3T, thank you for posting back in the forum.
I can see you started a case with us about this, but were asked for your port forwarding settings. If you can upload these to your support case as well as an unblurred traceroute we will be able to escalate this to our technical team to investigate further in case of things like double nat or any other restrictions.
If your friends are having the same issue, please as them to contact as well with the same information, if this is an ongoing issue for you all.
I can confirm that yesterday, if you had any issues trying to connect this may have been caused by degradation on the server that happened at around 4pm GMT time.
