OK, I'm just curious as to how people play this game.
My own gaming style is just to wander around the map on foot clearing points of interest and mopping up chests, etc.
I complete any missions in the area but not chasing missions actively.
I will sometimes bounce around the map via bivouac's if I fancy moving to a slightly different area.
I'm also a part-time gamer and therefore will sometimes spend 20 minutes or up to a couple of hours in one session, but no more.
I've currently got 128 hours in the game, uncovered 45% of the map but only completed 7% of the story.
So how do you play?
If it hasn't already been looked at, take a look at what was put together by a Virtual-Chris:

As a general rule of thumb, when I play any game, I always explore every area, grab all available collectibles, complete all available challenges and side missions, finish any and all other activities and rank up my characters fully, before I even think about starting the main campaign.
By doing things this way, I feel like I'll be prepared for anything the campaign can throw at me.
First I prefer Extreme/Elite. I have tried many styles of play for Entertainment, and improving my methods. But Stealth is always my Favourite, maybe I am old school, but hey title says Ghost Recon!
Latest is do Main Missions, least amount of kills? Obviously impossible not to kill on some. Still annoyed to only have 3 profile slots, but I might delete and try kill all Commanders, hopefully without killing any others, so max Stealth and patience again.
Yes this may sound boring to some, but have played completed everything etc etc, so many times, I like a real challenge.
The problem here is that the game seems to have an affinity for setting to missions of Episode 3 immediately, especially if you killed Walker at an early stage. Even if I put it back to Episode 1, the next mission selection it's back to default Ep3.Originally Posted by Quimera2-98 Go to original post
First, doing intro mission(s) of course. Then, when sendt to any zone, do missions there, and if next mission sends me to a new zone, try to get all chests and collectibles before leaving current zone.
I like the stealthy approach in every setting where that's an option, but I'm not afraid to engage in active combat.
I mostly travel around on foot, rarely use vehicles, and use fasttravel for longer distances.
I see absolutely no reason to do the timed faction missions, so I'm completely ignoring them. Because they provide no real reward, and they interfere with how I go from zone to zone.
I dislike nights, so I'm frequently using bivouacs to set the time to early morning.
I started this Game after the Release in october 2019 and from the beginning i started in Enemy Difficulty Extreme, I completed the whole game in that settings.
After 690 Hours of Gameplay the immersive Update came out, and i started a new Game/Character slot, with the hardest Settings available.
No HUD, Disabled all HUD Marker, even Teammates, Injuries on always, no health regen, no crosshair etc. No Health boost by Perks, no prepreperations and i completed all Mission again with that Saveslot.
I also stopped using Syncshot drones, Sensorgrenades and all the stuff that helps you to much, just using my rifle, grenades, flash, and sometimes EMP against drones.
Gamestyle:
I like the stealth slow and tactical cleaning of a Base, also i like a fast movement in stealth, and i also love loud action, firefights with the enemy, so its a mix of all
Missions:
I tried to follow the storyline
