Is anyone else having a lot of issues fighting Berserker after this update? I used to be able to hold my own before, but now its just impossible for me. The amount of feints and light mixups that come across my screen confuse the ever loving crap out of me and I can't do anything to stop it. I can wait out for a light parry if they tend to do the same sort or rhythm, but if my opponent is somewhat decent, they will only let it happen once and start changing directions of the light.

It doesn't help if has hyper armor on it to if its within the feinting chain, so someone with hyperarmor will still get ticked with it. Even so, trading hyper armor blows with Zerk isn't a good idea because of the sheer amount he has himself. It still blows my mind how he has thousands of ms of animations and still tanks ever single hit you throw.

I have ran into soooo many Berserkers since the update and every single one plays exactly the same every single time without fail. Some may dodge attack a little more than others, but most don't at all unless you throw some sort of bash they can just punish instantly. The only heroes I can manage to fight with is Warlord, cause he's easy and sometimes Highlander because of his bash feints and such.

Has anyone have any tips or is this another hero we are doomed to accept the current existence?

with pk, you can only turtle and bait. I can only tell you about my mains, pk and warlord.

bait his dodge attack, parry.
never use dodge attack unless he is doing top heavy finisher and you are sure he will let it fly.But is best to Never use dodge attack cause he will trade even if you did the correct read.
always be prepared for top lights and the jumping one, free parry.
when he learns that you will parry normal dodge attacks , he will try to cancel heavies with dodge/dodge attacks, be prepared.
after you establish you are the better defender, he will panic and will wait, this is the time to do dagger cancels,gb softfeint and ligtspam.
even with all this he can win cause he is much better than most assasins except shaman.

about, feinted heavies to lights with HA
try to parry/block the other side of his heavy, with pk is better to just block until he is just tired.normally they just choose the other side.He can tire quicly if he abuses this and you are a good blocker.
with normal guard you can try to parry , choose one side, (i choose top guard) and just parry the other two sides. This requires practice and a extrremely good read skill.
unless you have warlord, never trade with him until he is in critical health.
sometime raw gb when you are established as the better defender can work. at least this can be distracting and prevent dodge attack spam.
always try to read an attempt of option select with his zone, practice the parry against this. You can parry the subsecuent hits even if you only blocked the first hit.

important: practice against chain infinite in the arena, thank me later.
also I mained zerk my first 25 reps on console.

This is actually top notch man, I was trying pk and a zerk destroyed me so hard I abandoned her like forever LMAO, I did a lot of dodge attacks. Thanks I will try this.

I dropped pk because of Zerk and shugo. Quite ironic after the long awaited buffs.

They are quite simple with BP. Zone reaction punished with Bulwark Counter is still the funniest thing ever (I don't feel bad since it beats superior lights), and hyperarmor means nothing if you bash them. Conqueror is even more savage.

P.s.: I run into Barak's Zerk with my BP somehow. He had me 3-0 in two minutes.

He said Good Fight!, which I wasn't. I don't really get the match making, I keep getting extremely strong opponents with my 48% win rating, and I am still easily Diamond level despite apparaently losing more than winning. Some youtubers keep fighting thrash despite having clearly better numbers.

I think match making is a process of elimination, if not GM and M are in the queue they will proceed with diamonds and so on.

Or possibly it considers who beats who. Or this is just how small the community is. I would accept that everyone who not left is just this much better, but I have seen how an avarage person fights on youtube, so I am clearly not fighting that. Some of my opponents still parry me like preccu without seemingly breaking a sweat.
