We need a State of the Game - Sooner rather than later

Someone from Massive needs to resurrect the SoTG and begin to debunk all of these wild rumors floating around as to what is coming in year 3. A graphic indicating a roadmap for year 3 would be extremely helpful.

I think I speak for the entire player base that some sort of communication needs to happen.

I doubt it'll happen and not sure who is going to present it.

Hamish has been taken off the Division Franchise and is working on other stuff.

    So Who knows.

No, I don't miss his cat. I miss the open communication we used to have. We were told back in December that we would have our next SoTG after the first of the year. What we got instead are all of these press releases about the great new games Ubi/Massive will start working on. Great! But what's next for The Division franchise?

What do you want to hear?
They are working on new content? They have already said that.
Showing new content? It's not ready yet.
Waste their and your time? Lol, do it somewhere else.

I'd like to know what the new content is? Is there a roadmap for year 3 or did Massive just pull some devs off the street to re-purpose manhunts and seasons? Perhaps it's yours but not a waste of my time.

I doubt there is a roadmap since "everyone knew" that TU12 was going to be the end. This was news to me and a lot of other folks.

It's a waste of time when it's obvious they're not ready to talk about what's next. There are plenty of games to play in the meantime.

Nothing they could possibly say, short of a complete roadmap with a full on cinematic trailer and an introduction of an entirely new 50+ person development studio, would reassure anyone that Division 2 has a real shot at getting decent content.

I don't know what to tell you guys other than to expect the worst. Ubisoft doesn't give a crap. Massive doesn't give a crap. And if by some miracle they've been hiding a super-secret ultimate dev team that magically reveals a whole expansion...well....you won the lottery. But it's STILL a bad investment for your hopes.
