    PS4 input delay

I play Fenyx Rising on PS4 I have noticed I have an input delay from controller, about 0,5-1s. Not much but definitely noticeable which makes some precision parts really hard to perform. I read on reddit and other forums that other players also have this problem for PS4/PS4 PRO but couldn't find anything in this forum.

Does someone know the reason for this and how to fix it?

    Hi stickan_23,

Thank you for reporting this to us.

Just to confirm, are you using a standard DS4 controller? Does it make a difference if it's wireless or wired?

I'll continue this if that's OK.

The controller doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried both a DS4 and third party scuff controller that my brother had. Same issue. I play on a PS4 slim. No amount of playing with video settings whether on the playstion or my monitor seem to help. This is not a frame rate drop issue. This is a half-full second delay from the time I perform an action to the time I see it reflect on screen. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello vIRagnarokIv,

Thank you for reaching out, sorry to hear you're finding inputs to be delayed.

Are you running on a digital or physical version of the game?

And if possible, could you please capture any videos demonstrating the lag so we can see it?

    Much appreciated!

I'm on the physical version of the game. I'll do my best to record something for you, I just need a place to send it. I will say the input delay isn't really noticeable while swinging a weapon. However it is present while moving or aiming. Basically it's only an issue with input that comes from the joysticks. I've adjusted to dealing with it in boss fights, etc. But controlling the arrow with any semblance of precision is anxiety inducing to say the least. Also, navigating the menus is difficult as well.
