I think the initial explosion form Draconite Cleanser should not deal damage to teammates at all. Often I want to hurl it as far as possible to potentially save that one low health team mate getting ganked, but I often team kill them in the process if their health is low enough. So now I don't throw it as often and there are always so many good potential opportunities to do so. I think the explosion should heal a little health on top of it activating the healing aura afterwards.
There should also be a different icon for teammates when it lands because teammates often roll out of the way as to not get damaged, but then it breaks up the gank and they are no longer in the healing aura, Just some thoughts I had on it,
I find it problematic too, it forces Gryphon players to sometimes activate a very tiny section of their brains, which proves to be very difficult to most of them. So, to solve this problem, just remove the damage portion fully from the feat, and make it a heal only. That would satisfy OP and the community as well.

There are indeed plenty of overpowered feats in the game already. Half of them are on Gryphon. So if he needs anything, it is a solid nerf on his feats.
Champion's aura is better anyway, so roll with that like everyone else for T4 if you can't resist the urge to throw it on your team mates in critical health.
