Yup; if as Nomad you're concerned about the status of Midas (now that you found Holt and saw Weaver killed), you can just jump straight to Episode 2 and off to the far end of Auroa you go ...Originally Posted by MyNameIsJord Go to original post
I tried to skip that but the game wouldn't have it. One pixel too far to the right, I think and off I went into the cutscene.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
Will start a 3rd character tomorrow and see if this part can be skipped here. I was trying to snipe Walker, but that's not possible from within the river you have to cross.
I also tried doing Unguided Immersive mode. But for the life of me I cannot find the descriptions of places anywhere. Had to turn guided mode back on to see where to go to.
Anyone know?
I don't think you can ignore that cut scene forever - that is; no matter if you never go near the trigger (i.e. the bluff) you'll be brought back to a spot nearby upon re-starting the game. Discussions I've recalled are folks going straight to "Errorhon" in order buy rockets, to then return & kill Walker early. Stuff like that.Originally Posted by MyNameIsJord Go to original post
Isn't it there under the mission itself? When pinned it will display on the tac map of course.I also tried doing Unguided Immersive mode. But for the life of me I cannot find the descriptions of places anywhere. Had to turn guided mode back on to see where to go to.

Head to the nearest bivouac, get a rocket helo and then go shoot down his helo after the cutceneOriginally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
Sounds like a plan to me ...Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post
If you recall - will the cutscene trigger if you're airborne, or is it a case of land, trigger the cutscene, launch and blast?
Trouble here is that you first have to get lots of loot boxes and money before you can buy a helo.Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post
Other problem I find is that no matter where I die or otherwise have to restart, I always restart next to the crashed helo outside the Zeppelin base. Doesn't matter if I looked at the map in the mean time. Doesn't matter if I made it to Liberty City. Die or reload the game and the start point is here.
Within earshot of the bivouac in Fen Bog I found I forgot to set the World Parameters, so changed those to everything off. Game reloaded, I was next to the crashed helo again.
Started running back that way, found one of those sculptures the homesteaders make in Ep2 or 3 along the way. It had intel on it, so I got that only to find I was boxed in between the sculpture and a motorcycle with no way to get out. Blew up the motorcycle. Dead. Reload next to the helo again. Sigh.
But hey, let's talk about immersive mode.
WHY is everything ON in Immersive Mode?
Why is the interaction shader on so chests glow?
When I disable the interaction shader then why do afterwards ammo, grenades, health etc. still glow?
Why do I have to disable all map items, all hints, the detection meter etc.?
Why do I have to sit through the Interface menu for 15 minutes before I can start the game, because I have to disable everything that was left on in Immersive Mode?
Which part of Immersive Mode did you not understand, Ubisoft?
Doesn't that mean EVERYTHING OFF, unless the user wants it?
Not EVERYTHING ON but you have the choice what to disable, and then only sporadically some pieces because we know better than you?
Immersive Mode should even enable me to not do the introductory level until I find that it is time for that.
I have Unguided mode on, so no pointers on the map or in my view distance... but for those yellow balls next to the points you want me to go to. On the map and in my view.
Yes, I separately disabled pointers in Interface because these were on as well, of course.
Why tell me to follow the plumes of smoke, when there are these yellow balls in my POV guiding me there in my unguided mode?
It's... aaargh.
Oh, I see. Shows how tired I was.Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post

Okay, so that doesn't work. When you head to the nearest bivouac directly from the crash site, you don't have an option for a garage. So you can't do anything here.Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post
You can probably steal the helo at the test site, but I didn't check if it was there.
What I saw was:
- you can get away from the crash site. Nomad now loaded in the middle of the forest for me.
- again with the Immersive Mode, why do I have icons for motorcycles etc. on my map? And why can't I disable those?
- went to a bivouac, but the only options there are:
- so I went to Errorhon, got in and talked to Maria.
- then I could talk to Holt.
- this changes the mission from "go to the crash site of Weaver's helo" to "search for survivors".
- go to the bivouac in Errorhon.
- find here that apparently all cars, cosmetics and flying machines are linked to your account, not to your character.
- select the helo you want. I have bought everything the other day, spent a million Scred on it.
- leave Errorhon and get into your helo.
- fly towards the crash site of Weaver's helo.
- land and walk to the helo for the cutscene.
- press Escape to get out.
- run back to your helo.
- get in the air after Walker's helo and shoot it out of the sky.
- shoot it a couple of times for good measure when it's on the ground.
- Until you see these:
![]()
(there's also a blueprint attached but it scrolled off screen)
That's it.
Mind, after talking to Maria and Holt, I couldn't talk to the other survivors in Errorhon, nor could I use the radio. I will probably be able to do those now.
This game, man...Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post
