So what would be your 3 requests for the next update. Please only requests viable things, we all know whey is possible and what is not.
Do not ask for a better. IMO it will not happened. Even as the weight of your equipment.
So I gonna begging.
1. Ennemis detection and ennemis damage should be separated. And maybe levelled up.
2. Darkest night for us done, but would be great if the ennemis are also affected.
3. Hunter mode ( there is a threat on this forum) like the terminator mode but with 2 or 3 squats of 3 wolfs chasing you. This is the easy option. The harder option would be if you move fast and are quiet is harder for them to spotted you. If you clean out a base quietly they should know 2 hours later that this was your last position. If you got for open combat and the ennemies calls for renforcement, the renforcement should be those wolfs. Last things when you kill a squat of wolf this should also be your last position know by them. In fact if you act like a ghost (aka no kill) you can get ripped of them.
So what’s yours?
1 & 2 yes please!!
1) Absolutely should be split and by your levelled up, I assume you mean detection range, in which case there should be a slider for us to be able to increase detection distance ourselves;
2) Yep but of course this relates to a broader issue of enemy LoS which should be impacted by vegetation, buildings and of course weather and day/night. This will also play well along with number 1) above for detection range increase - no point increasing range if they can see through objects.
For me my 3rd non-massive update that could be implemented easily would be 1 of the following:
a) remove the detection status from the compass completely but also have an option where you only show the compass when we press to see the HUD; Dynamic makes it pop up when enemy is around and I don't want it permanently on
b) remove all buildings from the TacMap (brown icons) so it is only landscape and known areas like "A Peaks" or "B Forrest". Of course show the circular location marker once you have located the normal sites but never show the buildings and their shapes. Maybe even a proper fog of war where the map is all darkened as how it starts out which hides the buildings and only when it has been located, then show the buildings. For the story, seeing the buildings on the map is a giveaway to where you need to go when in non-guided mode.
c) in addition to b), option to remove the player marker/location on the TacMap. Would like to traverse the land by what I can see around me and pinpoint my location myself on the map; not by GPS.
These are simple additions I feel that, for me, would improve the immersion. There are of course bigger things which could and should be implemented already discussed around the forum, but I'll keep my options small for them :-)
Totally agree with 1 an 2.Originally Posted by ozziozziozzi Go to original post
3 I believe isn't going to happen but would be nice.
Personally, I would like a better IA overhaul. Enemies and teammates to stick more to cover instead of acting like sponge bullets. And a better AI about handling equipment (IA Teammates can't throw grenades, equip secondary weapons, pistols, etc. They can't even drive... Sentinel soldiers are way more capable in this matter). Enemy IA being able to see AI Teammates. Want to be stealthily as possible and don't want them getting in the way? Just order them to stop following before entering some base.
Also, it would be great if the diamond squad formation is a thing. Squad mates follow you closely in a diamond pattern, shotting stealthy close enemies' while undetected, or full auto attacking (still in diamond formation) when detected.
More enemies and more challenging enemies. More constant vehicle patrols in roads, with more men, some convoys, maybe. Reinforcements really reinforcing something, with cars, maybe a truck full of soldiers, helicopters, wolves, etc.
Also, a minor change: If AI Teammates really could drive (finally), then give the option to spawn more than one vehicle in bivouacs. Like 4 bikes when you choose a bike, or cars with 2 vehicles with 2 seats...
I made a couple of threads about the hunted parameter so that would be my first thing.. not because it’s necessary.. but because it would be hella good and make the world and map interesting againOriginally Posted by ozziozziozzi Go to original post
My 2nd pick since we already got Bodark would be having future soldiers stuff, hunter team, adaptive camo, crosscom
And my 3rd I’d say either the ACR or bring back the battle pass with tons of rewards and as final reward the ACR
1. Unlock Moa island, complete with a new story campaign, new factions, and additional side missions.
2..More gunsmith improvements, ,with universal scopes, and more focus on LMGs (inter-changeable stocks and suppressors)
3. Cosmetics overhaul, and adding more realistic community requested items.
1 More siege operatives , like all of em ! Ez pz for the devs.
2 Option to remove the ugly tactical belt that is floating i mean its a ring it doesnt make contact with the body just like the vests and backpacks
3 Better fitting for clothes and tactical gear , vests are still not making contact with the body, also reshape scuba pants ,the female version has male legs, the male version is fine.
1. Improve the faction missions because I think they have a lot of potential if they are expanded upon. Add a greater variety of missions and in more regions, maybe use some mission types from the live events.
2. Continue expanding on the gunsmith, especially with weapon classes like LMGs that haven't received updates yet. More attachments like flashlights and long barrels. Universal scopes, foregrips, and stocks where applicable.
3. Improved customization, allowing all gear to be colorable. Separating the battle belts from the vests so they can be changed independently of eachother, if that's possible. More detailed military-styled gear (like the AI teamates unique gear items).
1. Expanded enemy parameters
Like many have mentioned already, they should continue to add customizability to the AI with new settings like seperated detection speed and damage multipliers. Additionally they should add a setting to determine enemy detection range. You should be able to make enemies capable of spotting you out to perhaps 200-300 yards. There should also be a setting that determines the frequency and density of enemy patrols in the wilderness, and you should be able to determine enemy population of bases.
Generally I think they should also keep iterating on the more realistic end of the difficulty spectrum. Breakpoint is tactical more in name than in practice. Make enemies more unforgiving. They shouldn't abort a search after 2 minutes if they spot a dead teammate. They shouldn't rush at you like lemmings with no sense of self-preservation. Lastly but most definitely not least I would also love to see an injury system implemented for the enemy AI. There is nothing more aggravating than shooting a Sammy in the gut, only to have him stand there like a statue and bust your face with a 12 gauge like nothing happened. Make them stagger, trip, fall, limp and seek cover. Heck, add a new enemy type - medics.
2. Moa Island
A big one, but one that would be really neat to see. It feels more uncertain, however, so perhaps it's more in the realm of wishes than actual requests. But like many others I would love to see the map expanded with new places to see and explore. There have been many great suggestions posted already about what the island(s) could hold in store. Golem Island added many really interesting and really unique locations. Moa Island could do the same, but with emphasis on the singleplayer experience from the ground up.
3. Improved and expanded gunsmith and general customization
And as always continue to improve on the gunsmith. Not much more to say, I guess. Many great additions have been made already and they should continue that work. Offer even more freedom to customize your weapons as you see fit. Keep adding new weapons and attachments to collect as well, maybe on Moa Island.
And continued effort to expand on general player customization. New (and better) faces, hairstyles (braids too), tactical gear, clothes, etc. They could also add more torn and worn versions of various pieces. Much of the current wardrobe looks very clean and spotless. Just as weapons wear and tear, perhaps the same could happen to your clothes and gear as you trek, wade, crawl and climb through Auroa's harsh wilderness.
