It's only available through certain scope attachments. It's not a setting, it's just in the game.

It does not... this is a Third Person Shooter, you're looking for a First Person Shooter, which is its own category.

Spoken like someone who sucks at first person shooters.

News flash - many games have both modes.

Which is true many do have both.

But this is a third person only game always has been, just like Call of duty/Battlefield/Destiny et-al are First person only. Then you have games like Day Z/GTA which are both third and first etc etc.

So demanding a first person view in a third person only game is not going to happen and is rather futile. Maybe the OP could have watched a few video's or did some research before either buying or playing and ending up demanding something non existent.

Now i'll understand if there was the option but it wasn't working or bugged but thats not the case.

News flash - the Division 1 & 2 are not among those games.

    Haha! Didn't see this one!
Actually I feel more comfortable in FP view, this one only has TP, so I adapted.

...And I really have never seen "many games" that include both views, because the way you approach a game also dictates the level design.

I say, why not? If the community pushes for something hard enough then i believe it will happen. sadly, it seems some people think just because a game is traditionally third person means that, that's how it should always be and don't want more player customization in the game. it seems, these people don't have the capacity to think open-mindedly and because the game is and always has been one way, they think that it should never change. This is an example of traditionalist thinking and it is simply moronic. Especially when the game has changed drastically since launch, to the point where it doesn't even feel like the same game anymore.
