Hmm.. I had problems with TD2, just like everyone else but since team wrote it has been fixed (yesterday evening) everything is working fine and I'm playing it without a single crash or freeze..Originally Posted by CyberZ1983 Go to original post
I played yesterday (evening) and today - I just exited the game (had to go, game didn't crashed)..
Don't know why you still have problems
Ya, so this issue is still not completely fixed by a long shot. I played yesterday after the supposed fix, with no problems and no freezing. Upon logging in today the very same situation (freeze/minimized to Windows/Unresponsive) which was happening previous to this "fix" began again. And yet again, I was unable to quit without employing the task manager.
However, this time the glitch temporarily froze my entire computer, and almost wouldn't let me kill the task through task manager. I was about to force a hard reboot via powering off when it "unfroze" thankfully, and the force quit worked. Hard restarts are HORRID for overall PC health and that is now what Ubisoft is asking us to risk in order to play? Bloody nonsense.
This issue has just become a deal breaker. It's now making a very high end 3 month old new computer, gear that I spent loads of hard earned money building, freeze completely. I won't risk my PC's stability to play a game that developers can't be a$$ed to properly fix in the first place. If you're reading this and having these same issues, I suggest you don't go near this game again until there is absolute confirmation that it is truly, 100% fixed. Even then, think about why you're supporting a company that would put your own rig at risk from shoddy patching. I know I am.
Unbelievable that a triple A title can be this irresponsible with updates, bugs, and maintenance. I truly am shocked at this abysmal level of care and responsibility for a title that made so much money for Ubisoft. Obviously this issue wasn't completely resolved, and as such they should have taken the damned game offline and admitted it was a larger, more complex issue. Really sad. Ubisoft just took a massive rep hit, and my future game cash won't be spent on anything Ubisoft makes unless this freeze-apalooza gets clarified, sharpish.
Yep. Same happening to me. Worked yesterday, today back to the same nonsense, only this time it came close to freezing my entire computer, which is unacceptable. Really have to question who's running the show at Ubisoft that they're willing to risk their customer's hardware for their gimped game. Very effed up.Originally Posted by Quantum-192 Go to original post
