Glad the disconnect or crash to desktop is gone for a large majority of us however there is now an issue with stuttering and enemies doing the old pop up out of no where, so crash fixed now stuttering can happen however no major issues in the iron horse raid just back in Washington area in the LZ.
I've done the update that came through but my game still crashes after 5 mins of game play. I'm also losing sound and being shot by enemies that aren't there and then they suddenly they appear! not long after that the game crashes. I haven't had an issue with the game since I bought it till now.
You, the devs and management, caught a lot of flak yesterday. Mostly due to the general frustration. I was pretty civil myself, but had a few things to criticize. But first: Thank you for the fix. I played all morning, no freezing, no crashes, no glitches.
The stuff I wrote was mostly addressing other players, who were messing with their settings, operating system, and what not. I told them not to. It wouldn't get the game to play.
But I also targeted you, the people at Ubisoft & Massive. Since I don't know your structure and who's responsible for what, I just ask that if you read this, think about it, pass it on, and if possible implement it:
You have a communication problem. You don't really talk to us players other than on special PR-relevant occasions. That's really too bad, because if the player base doesn't know what's going on, who's working on problems, how long the remedy is expected to take, and things of this nature, they get frustrated, vent, and rant. Actually, you already have the perfect tool for such communication: Ubisoft Connect. In fact, you even have a general menu point: NEWS; and specific menu items for NEWS for each and every game.
This is where you should let us know what happened. Say, a given update resulted in some unexpected complications, say they were server-side related, and affected other games as well. Just say so there. And say if it's a major problem which might take all day to fix. Then keep updating and correcting the time when the game is expected to run again.
This would save us a lot of trouble, not having to find the relevant thread on the relevant forum. It's not that easy to find and it's not consistent. Ubisoft Connect is on our desktop and it would be easy to look up real NEWS here. Moreover, we could say, okay, this is going to take at leas 4 hours, so I can go do something else. Otherwise, we all go to the forums and ask each other what's going on. This leads to misinformation and speculation and rants.
Also, we wouldn't have to call up the game for hours on end every 15 minutes to see whether it runs or freezes up.
Save us and yourselves all this trouble. It would benefit Ubisoft / Massive by improving their corporate image. Hey, they care about us, they're keeping us informed.
Worked fine last night and played for 5 hours with no issues. In fact better than usual.
Play this morning and crashing every 5 minutes. This has gone beyond annoying now.
So what's broken now Ubisoft? It worked for around 12 hours then back to the same problem?
